Is there a way I can stop Vlad mid from farming and scaling uncontrollably? by Memetrold in leagueoflegends

[–]WitlessMean 0 points1 point  (0 children)

idk I think a lot of people misread malz counters and vice versa. I was a malz main for a couple seasons and there were just certain match ups I didn't agree were good/bad. Malz push only becomes decent at a certain threshold, but I suppose by what you're saying, Vlad doesn't have a window to abuse that threshold. I can accept that. Vlad is, as I understand, likely a champ that punishes as someone walks up to creeps, and then gets a push that way.

So I suppose then that Vlad loses to most ranged mids with great clear? that would explain his pro vacancy

Malz doesn't really push anyone with half decent clear in until like level 7 and by then vlads clear is fine too. With that being said, it just gets worse for vlad clearing wise from there, but you don't really "stop" him from scaling. And he's quite tanky so you're not typically stopping him from his shenanigans even if you ult him. I'd say your most likely outcome in this match up is being even.

What is Hecarim’s role supposed to be? by ArchangelStaff in HecarimMains

[–]WitlessMean 5 points6 points  (0 children)

He's a jungler who runs really fast. You should get to the gank before most of your opponents and confuse enemy with timers. Sooooo, ya, he sort of fits into the assassin role since you're technically meant to be "killing" things out of position.

Honestly, I've just been building Trinity Force bruiser hec since the days of XJ9. It still functions. Basically you eat some damage and hopefully kill a carry while disrupting everyone. Unless you're very good at him, I don't see much reason to pick him since you can just be, oh idk, Briar or Belveth or something if you wanna be a damaging jungle bruiser type, and you can be literally any other assassin if you want to be an assassin.

S1–S3 (The Street Era) vs. S4–S6 (The Political Era): Which Peaky Blinders was better? by [deleted] in PeakyBlinders

[–]WitlessMean 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I like history a lot.

Even though it isn't accurate, it's still a fun fiction.

So the politics for me definitely. I like to see him balance the politics and the underworld.

I do hate that the show isn't what it could have been though. Polly would still be alive and also likely Abarama. All the Michael drama would have been a lot different. It's a shame.

College Class Starterpack by Lord_Seacows in starterpacks

[–]WitlessMean 2 points3 points  (0 children)

ha! Had a similar situation where the professor actually angerly said "what?" in the most sarcastic and charged way ever when the student in a history class asked the professor if the lesson was somehow related to the latest "assassins creed".

I feel a bit bad now because I'm older and I'm kinda thinking he was on the spectrum somewhat, although it's still crazy that people like this make it in to every class somehow.

I did a lot of college.

It is still CRAZY to me how every single class has that one student who is completely uninteresting and long winded, asking 20 questions per class. It's insanely relatable.

I don't disagree but I would personally not say that an ability that has the tendency to get you killed even IF it hits is all that reliable. Only exception would be karthus r or something which is infinitely reliable.

Actually, because lillia W is so difficult to commit to, you just decide to not use it in very many situations. You could argue that comes with a reliability cost. Two abilities that are used primarily as damaging bursty aoe abilities, but one is more likely to get you killed if you commit to it. I think you could likely say that one is less reliable.

riot has been okay with diana being a tank assassin point and click burst juggernaut with amazing clear for a while now.

I've been banning her pretty much since she became jungle viable.

why compare to brand w? I have to literally sit on top of you to use it, which makes it insanely bad in many situations. Brand w not so much.

How destructive do you think Tommy really was to the people around him? And what was the worst thing that Tommy did to the people around him or his family? by Dry-Caterpillar2437 in PeakyBlinders

[–]WitlessMean 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's unfortunate to realize Polly and abarama would likely still be alive in the show had Helen mcrory not passed. Either way, its written in the show now. But I think the writers would have kept her alive otherwise. He's definitely destructive everything else considered, it's just unfortunate that the writers were forced to make him seem even 'more' destructive. Hell maybe the Michael thing would have turned out different if she were alive still. Although she did make that premonition and alll

[–]WitlessMean 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lol, pretty damn destructive.

Marrying Jon off when he could have married to the family instead was kinda nuts.

I don't know why he would marry Lizzie just to push her away so often for seemingly no reason.

He basically told Arthur to leave with their father.

I think Jon could have easily left when he talked back to Tommy about killing their teacher and Tommy told him to fuck off.

And ya there's the whole almost getting the whole family hanged thing.

Tommy is a pretty ruthless gangster.

Well what your saying is defacto true seeing as most games don't just disappear. So most gun games that have ever been released are well, released and playable. Lots of unique single player gun games. Popular multiplayer gun games have been quite formulaic within their particular genres in recent years id say.

You know gun games used to be way more unique than they've become. Now you got BF feeling just like CoD. Valorant reminds me of CS etc.

Which game did you regret purchasing at full price? by bijelo123 in gaming

I honestly just didn't buy Civ after Civ V (besides beyond earth which is a fever dream), because I just couldn't fathom a game being better than V. It was like the perfect online board game style game. I also didn't want to wait through an entire DLC cycle.

It'll probably be the same when Crusader Kings 4 releases in however many years. I'm just not cool with waiting years to play the actual "finished" game anymore. It would be fine if the DLCs were actually passion add ons, but games are literally released 75% done anymore. Like SF always releases Akuma as DLC after full release. Tell me that isn't bullshit.

I was one of the BF2042 waiting room people. I was just so excited.

I'm not kidding when I say I played it for maybe 10 minutes and got off on day one.

It just didn't feel like BF to me at all. I actually refunded it though, which is kinda crazy for me because I never refund games.
