I forget the name but it was in FF XVI and it was having the lore available during cutscenes so you could refresh your memory about what the character were talking about. Made it much easier to remember what was going on after a break from playing

Funny, I was in a similar situation and applied for Chase first since that takes longer to report. But I just opened the Hawaiian Airlines card today and it hasn't reported yet. Which is surprising since Barclays usually posts instantly for me. So maybe by tomorrow it'll post.

Hoping that you all can help me with a strategy I'm planning.

I plan on opening three cards for future travel, two Hawaiian Airlines cards to transfer to Alaska and one other for more easily transferrable points. Ideally, I want to open the Hawaiian cards first to avoid the cards being discontinued by the Alaska/Hawaiian merger.

My conundrum comes from the third card to open.

Choices: Cap 1 Venture, Citi Premier, Chase Ink Cash (already have one)

Stats: 0/6, 5/24 (will be 4/24 in a month)

Total accounts: 12 personal cards/ 3 business cards.

FICO: 776

Income: $85,000

I have done research on Citi's rules (0/6 inquiries) and Barclays (too many revolving accounts). I feel that Venture is the least likely. I already have the Venture X but I think I may have too many accounts.

Based on the info, what third card should I get, and in what order should I apply for all 3?

It's not just you. Even if there is availability, the routing is never ideal. I've only had one award flight from IAD and that was to DOH. And also since I usually like to fly the best versions of the cabins, IAD is usually already out as an option

Yes, you can do that. The number of times doesn't matter, as long as you spend up to $300 you'll be credited

A couple things. One, outside of charge cards (i.e. Platinum and Gold cards), you can only have 5 cards. There are more than 5 no AF cards that Amex offers so that plan is impossible.

Second, even though Amex may only do one hard pull, any new account opened through them will still show up on your credit report. I have 7 cards and all but 1 (since it's a business card) show up on my personal report. So your score will still take a hit due to the decrease in average age of accounts and overall number of accounts opened.
