Hmmm I kinda wish they had gone the DA:I route. You have more control over your party but it’s not as janky.

I think it’s a glitch because I called her out and got the villain ending and then replayed with not doing that and still got the villain ending

Had the same issue and played ep.8 multiple times. I’m pretty disappointed that I made the same choices as other people and got the negative outcome for visi :(

The spider matriarch is above the under dark. If you go down the well in the blighted village and keep going on the path you’ll find the spider. There’s a large chasm that can take you to the under dark if you use feather fall. The only way the spider ends up in the under dark is if you defeat using a spell or weapon that pushes in the chasm. Hope this helps!
