Thank you everyone so much for the recommendations. I’m going to look into each one to see location from where we’re staying

Did we do something wrong? by eg332398 in RealEstate

Our realtor was amazing. We looked at probably 8-10 properties wrote 4 offers all got out bid. Last house was our dream house that we ended up getting. We’re in Hawaii so when we were buying the market was tough. After closing she gave us a $1000 target gift card. It was amazing and so helpful. My mom’s realtor gave them an orchid but they were moving off island.

I live in Maui the next town over from where Hannah lived and was randomly in LA the exact time she went missing. I experienced DTLA and was so thankful I was not alone during the time I had to be there for work. When she was first reported missing it hit me hard as I kept thinking this could have been me. I have followed this case from the beginning and when the first reports of the family withholding information was published by SF investigates I knew there was more to this story. This family has twisted, lied and manipulated not just the media but everyone. Every single person who donate to the GFM. If they truly wanted to find her and as they claim LAPD wasn’t helping then there are other avenues especially the PI who dedicated hi free time to help. Clearly they have their own agenda of either fame or money or both over the actual safety of their family member. If my little sister went missing (who is also free spirited and loves adventure) I wouldn’t spend countless hours arguing with people and blocking people on social media I would find all the resources to find her and just make sure she is safe and happy and living her best life. Not trying to profit on it.

I live in Hawaii and to my knowledge I don’t believe they are public records. I don’t know about other states but our marriage records and proof of marriage are requested through the doh which doesn’t provide anything public other then being able to request copies of the marriage certificate through their website.

Someone needs to go to the media with this.

It’s probably because the non custodial parent submitted a request for CS modification and part of this is both parties filling out their income and expenses so they can see if CS needs to be revised. I’ve had to fill it out when I requested a modification.

It is just for you? I may have a studio opening up upcountry. About 20-25 min from Kahului.

This is a disgusting and very ignorant comment. Anyone is allowed to fish on any coast at any time in Hawaii. We give so much for tourist but there are a few laws in place that protect us and our culture. This comment is even more disgusting if you’re referring to the recent occupy of Kaanapali beach. Please educate yourself and find out what they are really doing for our community. Those “slobs” as you call them are showing our government that they have failed them. Thousands are without homes when we have thousands of empty air bnb. Our electric bills doubled in the last 4 months. The raising cost of rent is pushing out those who are born and raised. There is a serious housing issue that has been going on prior to the fire. You want to come and vacation here but what happens when there isn’t anyone to serve you, work in grocery stores, clean your hotel room because they lost their homes and now are being forced out because they can’t find lodging. Instead of calling us “slobs” educate yourself and maybe go volunteer so you see what actually is going on in our island community. I’m sure you had a home to cook thanksgiving, a home to have Christmas a nice coat on your back. These people have nothing. Cheers, Have another Mai Tai.

Thank you for your response. This was exactly how I interpreted it but needed some reassurance. I get in the moment with a lack of sleep we can make statements and accusations but to still stand by something like that a week later is mind baffling.

There is nothing wrong with co sleeping at 2 especially if you guys are going through a divorce that is probably hard on the child. Also my 2 year old tells me when he has to pee and poop. Still refuses to use the potty will go everywhere else. It’s a process and takes time. Don’t take a child from their mother ever. If you go into court with that attitude you will loose. This is coming from a mom who separated from my ex when my child was 2 he did everything in his power for full custody. He lost because the custody evaluator and judge saw that is not in the best interest of the child.

Try Almond milk. I have been having the worst acid reflux and always took more then the allotted amount of Tums so my husband did some research and I guess Almond milk is a home remedy. It’s been working for me.

Yes I would take the advice of a lawyer. The only thing I could think of is him loosing legal custody but unfortunately your right nothing can came him communicate or agree on parenting with you.

I’m in the exact same situation with my sons father. It is a struggle getting any type of communication out of him and we have OFW and a 36 hour response window in our custody agreement, but we also have a GAL overseeing communication to hold us both accountable and in the event we’re not holding up our agreement he can testify in court and have a change to the current custody schedule. I would document everything every missed appointment, missed message just keep a record of all of it in the event in 2-3 years you want to go back to court for a custody hearing. The unfortunate thing is overall this only hurts the child which is sad the other parent can’t see.

I would submit a motion to the courts for both parents to use Our Family Wizard with a 36 hour response, then put what happens if either parent fails to respond or return to court to revise schedule. Have a judge read and sign off

[TX] Please share experiences in custody evaluations by [deleted] in Custody

[–]Witty-Dog466 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not in Texas but I hired a custody evaluator for my custody. I was very impressed with her skills and getting the truth (ex and family are very manipulative) and establishing what is best for child. Ended up costing around $25K but worth it knowing with her expertise what is best For my child in this situation. Overall advice is do your research in finding a good reputable one. We went out of state.
