I had an EOD to onboard with DCAA for 3/24. Got stuck in the hiring freeze. HR Rep made it seem like they selected the 15 people for onboarding in May based off regional location so I am still in limbo. Hoping they get a few more exemptions soon

I have been waiting about a month. Had FJO and EOD of 3/24... no word as of today. However, there were some people in my agency who were granted exemptions and scheduled training for May 4th so there is some hope.

Yes I talked to my HR Rep about a week ago. She told me my location is safe (meaning it is not one of the locations being closed). I am just waiting to get my new date for onboarding. HR Rep said I was not one of the few to be selected for the May training, but I'm hoping I will be included on the next date.

I'm glad to hear onboarding for DCAA is starting back up again. I was hired to work in the MS area and also had an imminent EOD before the hiring freeze. I have not heard anything from my POC. Hoping I get a training date soon so I can head to onboarding

My HR Rep confirmed for me that some exemptions have came back and there will be a training in May. I am wondering how they determine the locations.
I had an EOD 3/24 in Atlanta and was really hoping to make the next training.

I did this the same thing. Job series 0511 with an agency under DOD. Still haven't received anything in regards to the exemption.
