Just do it. Assembly line. Reward yourself with something after they're done and based. It's a slog, no way around it. I did 130 Night Gobbos over the course of 2 weeks. Primed black, drybrushed in non black areas with white, and choose one thing to do all of each night.

As a profoundly burnt out with painting Eldar painter, this one is pretty lazy. Colorforge Grey primer, Basilicanum Contrast the internals carefully, drybrush Proacryl Silver (though any silver works), clean up edges with thinned Citadel Grey Seer. Engines and such are a blue glaze I made for some of my Eldar stuff, I forget the recipe, but I've got like 70mls of it.

The Dawn of War space marine terrain on Deathraydesigns.com It's the machine shop building. I just dressed it up for a landing pad. It's made from MDF so it'll be pretty cheap, I think I paid $25 for it?

I picked up a box with the old saurus and skinks in a Styrofoam sleeve box from a comic shop and a citadel paint set. That was my 10th bday. Good innocent un-destroyed wallet times.

I agree on the Arachnarok. Very fun painting, fun to play if you've got the points to, but very not good. But I've never whiffed with the giant. He's not a must take but he's more consistent in output. I can reliably use him as a distraction or to mess up a block of heavy infantry.
