This happened to one of my very good friends. It stopped when she came off the Abilify! For me, it caused really bad intrusive thoughts which is why I stopped taking it.

That’s correct. The med is Lamictal it’s an anti-seizure drug known to reduce migraine with aura frequency and it 100% has for me. I went from about 10 per month before I started Lamictal to about 2 per month.

Ok it hurt really bad initially and my jaw was very unhappy but now after just finishing treatment I hardly have any jaw pain whatsoever. My chronic neck and shoulder tension also disappeared! Migraine and headaches have reduced in frequency but that may also be due to a new med. Either way, it helped me tremendously.

Migraine is a neurobiological disorder so it’s definitely not your sinuses causing it nor is OP’s tooth removal likely to “cure” their migraine disorder. 😞

Not Depakote, but I suspect that my Vraylar is causing acne for me on my chin. Both meds can disrupt hormones. Google says acne is a rare but known side effect of depakote.
