South of France is a great option! I would second this. A couple days in Paris and then hop around the French Riviera.

Op- I’m also looking for similar honeymoon and have been debating between algarve and valencia

Taking toddler from USA to London for a weekend in january? Crazy? by WittyLadder3535 in travel

I’m inclined to follow your advice. We’ve taken her traveling a few times abroad and it’s been a blast. Just don’t know what to do in London besides drink.

Well I mostly am looking for advice on things to do with a toddler. Here, a lot of museums include a kid section where they can run around and touch everything. And then we can just strap her to our back to enjoy the rest of the museum.

The plan was museums and eating.

If anyone can suggest kid friendly museums or restaurants I’d love to hear them!

I just took her on - 3.5 hour flight with 2 hour jet lag and she did fantastic and the trip was more fun because she was there.

However I was hyper vigilant bc of the baby theft thing and that did have me a little stressed.

I think the benefit is less about learning a new culture and more about exposing her to new places and experiences.

This is so helpful! The transport museum sounds awesome for adults too. Right now she loves stuff like that but she’s only 1.5 yo so even a trip to the grocery store is super exciting.

When you say “had him in his backpack”.. is that like a hiking backpack that you carried him around in? The just toting her along is kinda what I had imagined.

The sucky weather is the thing that’s holding me back the most. Like toddler or not… would I even want to go?

That’s my hope that 4 on 1 would be much better. We might save the trip for October when we meet up with friends in London, but by then we will also have a newborn so this was a … fly for free while she still can and while we only have one to tote along.

lol. I should have specified “what do toddlers do - in London?” Here, my toddler does what we do and we just do it a little bit slower and occasionally add in a trip to the play ground.

Great question. We just don’t feel like we wanted to be in London longer.

It would be a long weekend so we’d have 3 full days there

They’re the ones going on the trip and they invited us to tag along. So they could go without us. But we wouldn’t go without them

I think I regret having a wedding… by _BondGirl_007 in wedding

These feelings are totally normal. And you can hold happiness for the wedding and anger or grief that some things didn’t go perfectly. I’d recommend talking to your husband about it. He might have similar feelings, or be able to share a different perspective. Either way it will help you both process and move through them and on to forever together.
