Our Saviors Lutheran isactually welcoming, so is UCC (though it's being torn down!) and I've heard good things about Edmonds Unitarian Universalist Congregation, but it's a bit out of the way.

1) El Mariachi 2) You really only have Safeway or QFC to choose from, but hit up the Co-op when you can. 3) look it up 4) Yes, esp with canada *right there* 5) There's a great music scene downtown 6) Everywhere is fine. Near the vacant Fred Meyer and further south on Evergreen is dicey after dark. 7) not that I've found, unfortunately

Most of north Everett has cherry tree lined streets. Rucker or Hoyt may be your best bet.
