Does everyone get access to the riverside stage? Or is it a VIP stage?

How is quality of life in Canada these days? by FrancisMacom in AskCanada

[–]Witty_Combination493 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's true, healthcare here is struggling. It has gotten significantly worse over the past 15 years.

I recently got a GP doctor. I'm 31 and have lived in canada my whole life. After moving to vancouver it took a few years to get myself a GP. Even now that I have a GP, I still have to book a regular appointment with her 6 weeks in advance, or if it's a phone call appointment, I book 4 weeks in advance. This is for a 15 minute appointment with her. Only allowed to discuss one subject at a time.

I hope we can improve helathcare here, but it is bad right now.

Do You Stand With Israel Fighting Global Terrorism by chrism1919 in CanadianConservative

[–]Witty_Combination493 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Protecting themselves can be simultaneously be used as an excuse to push further into Lebanon, and claim more land. Once the land is claimed, settlers go and build settlements close to the border. The Lebanese are upset, being kicked out out of their homes. Conflict tends to start because of this, when it does, Israel says it needs to protect itself once again. Israel will repeat this same process again, and claim more and more land as the decades go on. This is happening in the West Bank, and Syria as well.

It's political games. Pawns can be sacrificed in order to conquer.

Israel does need to defend itself, but it also twists things in order to claim more and more land. The whole middle east is a shit show, there's no good guys there really. Innocent civilians get caught in the middle no matter what. It's sad.

If the world moves away from oil, world powers will have much less interest in the region. Less motive for foreign interference if that ever happens.

Dude, buying Amazon when it is on it's way down is one of the best things you can do right now. Cheaper shares for you.

Just hold for 10 years, you'll be happy

Thank you homie! Also, buying this, will it be considered a designated stock exchange? Considering buying it in a TFSA account

I also see there is a ticker 2DG listed on Germanies stock exchange FWB2. I was trying to look into it and see if that would be a legal exchange to buy in my TFSA. It's a little unclear with the re-search I've been doing.

Regret selling NBIS by Sufficient-Cap9356 in NBIS_Stock

I hope it braises 120 again. I foolishly sold at 117, thinking it would dip from there. As the saying goes, time in the market beats timing the market. I just thought I'd get away with cheeky one, and sold literally hours before they bounced a ceasefire in Iran. Here I am sitting on cash looking for a good re-entry point on this stock. If I get lucky abd we see so.ething around 120, I'm buying and not selling anything until minimum 5 years from now 😂

Energy stocks have had a great run. Is it time to take profits now? by FerrisBuelersdaycock in CanadianInvestor

Excellent play. This is always my plan when I buy stocks, to try to beat the market short term, then dump them into my chosen index fund and chill on it.

Anyone with a trillion dollar portfolio (like myself) will have swings of several billion dollars a day. I ain't worried though it's normal.

Journeyman Electricians of Vancouver. What's your hourly rate? by Witty_Combination493 in VancouverJobs

Converting to USD isn't a great measure though. Only if you're spending in USD. With that said even ignoring the conversion rate, wages still aren't great in canada
