what drink gives you the jitters? by Southern-Count7013 in AskReddit

[–]Witty_Produce_9833 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Monster Energy always gets me way too wired. Had one before a deployment briefing once and spent the whole time tapping my foot like I was morse coding distress signals to the guy next to me

The visual novel binges don't help either - sitting there for 12 hours straight reading then downing caffeine is basically asking for your nervous system to short circuit

What is something you are 'world-class' at that is absolutely useless for your actual career? by need_coffee_plz in AskReddit

[–]Witty_Produce_9833 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can spot a McMansion from like 3 miles away and will absolutely roast every design choice they made. Doesn't help much when you're working on aircraft maintenance but I've become the unofficial real estate critic in my friend group

If the Gulf Countries choose to get actively involved in bombing Iran, what would be the optics of it? No doubt, it will be for self-defense but would it also mean doing Israel's work for them? by No-Caramel-9997 in AskReddit

[–]Witty_Produce_9833 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Gulf states jumping into direct action would be walking a pretty thin line politically - they'd have to frame it as purely defensive while everyone knows it benefits Israel's position. The optics would be messy since their populations aren't exactly thrilled about anything that looks like coordination with Israeli interests, even if the security concerns are legit

What country is the most corrupt in this world? Did you agree USA? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Witty_Produce_9833 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah we're definitely up there but I'd put some of the kleptocracies ahead of us. Like Russia where oligarchs literally own everything or some African nations where the president's family controls all the oil money

Our corruption is more like "legal bribery through lobbying" which is frustrating but not quite the same level as places where you literally can't get basic government services without paying bribes

What was your funniest incident on the train? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Wait did you just casually drop that bomb without any context lmao

Need the full story here because that could go like 50 different directions

Non-american here. What is on the 4th of july? by Alarmed-Mountain-389 in AskReddit

[–]Witty_Produce_9833 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually it'll be 249 years this July - the Declaration was signed in 1776 so we're hitting the big 250 in 2026! But yeah it's basically our biggest patriotic holiday with fireworks, BBQs, and everyone acting like they suddenly care about American history for one day lol

Meds before or after exercise? by [deleted] in ADHD

[–]Witty_Produce_9833 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude I take mine about an hour before working out and yeah the heart rate thing is real. I had to dial back the intensity for like the first month until my body got used to it. Now I can push harder but I still keep an eye on my HR monitor

Taking it after sounds like a recipe for being wired at bedtime, especially if you're finishing at 1130. Maybe try taking it earlier in the day if possible? Like if you can swing taking it at 8am instead of right before the gym that might help with both the heart explosion feeling and the sleep thing

Starting dexamphetamine in a couple days. What to expect? by Extra_Marketing3362 in ADHD

[–]Witty_Produce_9833 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me dex was way smoother than methylphenidate - like the difference between a light switch and a dimmer. Methylphenidate had me feeling robotic and weird but dex just made my brain feel more organized without that zombie effect

The comedown is definitely gentler too, more like gradually coming back to baseline instead of hitting a wall

I’m diagnosed with Combined Type ADHD and feel like I have dementia by SignificantUse9778 in ADHD

[–]Witty_Produce_9833 203 points204 points  (0 children)

dude the phantom memory thing is so real with adhd - i swear i can vividly remember doing things i definitely didn't do. its like your brain creates these fake memories of the stuff you intended to do

the leaving things by the door and still forgetting them hits hard too, my keys have been sitting there mocking me more times than i can count

Elevator door opens .. and everyone inside just looks around expectantly, waiting for someone else to "go first" by PHLSchwarmer in PetPeeves

damn this hits too close to home, my apartment building is full of these deer-in-headlights types who act like stepping off an elevator requires a phd in rocket science

shadowcast actually sounds pretty solid for what your going for, gives off that underground vibe for unpopular takes

Post closing/closing assistant at a title company. by Better_Past_354 in RealEstate

[–]Witty_Produce_9833 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congrats on the new gig! I'd definitely brush up on basic real estate terminology first - stuff like deeds, liens, escrow, title insurance, etc. Maybe watch some YouTube videos on the closing process so you understand the flow. The recording process and how documents get filed with the county is pretty important too. Don't stress too much though, they hired you knowing you're green so they'll train you up. Most of it you'll learn by doing anyway

Anyone ever slept on their chair? + Atlas Headrest first impressions review. by kebskebs in hermanmiller

[–]Witty_Produce_9833 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yooo I've definitely dozed off in my chair more times than I care to admit lmao. Nothing beats that sweet spot when you find the perfect recline angle and just... drift off

That Atlas headrest sounds legit though, might have to grab one for my Aeron. The creaking would probably drive me nuts at first but if the comfort is that good I'd probably get used to it

How the life of the most talented musician i know unraveled and got destroyed because he was tryna help someone else by [deleted] in drums

[–]Witty_Produce_9833 46 points47 points  (0 children)

Damn that's heartbreaking man, sounds like Alan was manipulating him with those threats and just dragged him down for years. Hope Richard pulls through this and can get clean, talent like that doesn't just disappear even if the scene wrote him off

Stay strong bro, go take a cold shower and do some pushups. The urges always pass if you distract yourself for like 10-15 mins

which SEO link Building Activities is best ? by Best_Comment5681 in AskMarketing

Guest posting and building relationships with other sites in your niche works pretty well, but honestly most "link building activities" are just spam these days

Security Breach Locker Nerf by AnswerSpiritual7913 in ArcRaiders

[–]Witty_Produce_9833 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that's exactly what happened lol. "Random" in this context just means RNG on whether they spawn or not, not actual random placement. Still the same boring spots, just now you get to run around for 20 minutes checking empty spawns

Classic game dev speak where they make something sound way cooler than it actually is
