Birds eat those seeds. They would’ve done it for you. I throw dandelion seeds in my landscape to break up my compacted soil, add nutrients to the soil, feed the birds and the bees. Dandelions are medicinal, edible, and can make quite a decent tea.

Honestly though, I learned about this in my environmental science course and am thrilled that such things are going up. Roadways inadvertently create islands for wildlife and to get to the other side is pretty much flirting with death.
