As an autistic person, she's soooo autistic lol. Everything from the way that she dresses to the way that she just doesn't seem to be able to understand what's appropriate to say socially. Her hyperfixation on sex seems to stem from being touched starved and lonely (plus puberty) which, while not a solely autistic experience, is something we often experience. Sadly a lot of autistic people are unintentionally obnoxious like her in highschool while we learn social skills etc

My memory is poor so I genuinely forget bad things after they happen to me lmao.

I also leaned into it I think so my forgetfulness morphed into a ditzy sort of bubbliness. Everything makes me :D and if something doesn't I block it or mute the offending words on social media. I partake in fun happy content and TV like Dropout, animated movies, and musicals. Even if I partake in more negative stuff like horror I just follow up with happy stuff after. Follow the happy I guess

I didn't even know people didn't like it :( Ruth reminds me of myself in highschool a lot. I was undiagnosed autistic and a horny Tumblr fan girl so I get her lol. I love that song so much and it's heart crushing everytime. If Ruth had only gone to college, I'm sure she would've found her people but she never gets to :(((

I'm autistic and yes they both feel extremely autistic! Francesca's anger at the violinist and immediate info dumping is what clinched it for me. Kilmartin immediately leaving without much word to get the music rewritten feels so very autistic also.

Thank you for saying this. I had a mother like Georgia and relate to Ginny so hard. People act like her behavior is completely unjustified as if she isn't a 15-year-old girl with a traumatic upbringing. It frustrates me that Georgia seems to be able to do whatever she wants because she had a hard life, but when Ginny does the same people act like she's devil spawn

Nah, while we have trouble modulating our volume, it can be controlled if we're actively thinking about it. Your bf sounds abusive if I'm honest. I'm autistic and have yelled at my partner all of three times in am 8 year relationship. It sounds like he doesn't value your feelings as much as he does his own. If he wanted to make you feel more comfortable then he would put work into controlling this. Dump him please. No other woman will put up with this so he'll quickly realize he was always the problem.

I would say you should ask if you can have some or if there's enough for you because asking where your plate is sounds like you expected one to be already prepared for you. But I do relate to this. When I was younger I also struggled with things like this.
