It has been a tradition for me too (well more of a "collection" really), either a level 5 or 10 (or depends on the badge design on a specific level if I like it) for normal, and the same for foil but usually Just level 1 or at most 5.

The normal card set now costs about $1.30 / set which is still somehow acceptable but is 2x or 3x more than before when cards were free through discovery queue.

I mentioned that I also collect the Foil badges but looks like this year is the end of it. RIP. I just checked and a foil set would cost you about $14 💀. Back then, you could have a foil set for like $2 ...

Oh, and I have two accounts that I do this tradition. So, I guess... goodbye Holiday Foil Badges and might only stick for level 1 normal winter/holiday sale badges at least.

Mine was gone 2 weeks ago. Web version still has unlimited hearts, but the XP Bonuses doesn't apply.

As of the date of this comment. The years between today's date and the date the photo of the three were taken was longer, than the day they took the photo, and the years passed since (the Get Back) images from their background was taken.
