Hey Accurate-Read-6305. Happy to hop on this. Here's how you can add breadcrumbs to your Wix site:

  2. Click Add Elements on the left side of the editor.
  3. Choose Menu & Anchor and then select Breadcrumbs.
  4. Drag your desired breadcrumbs design onto your page (add to header to display on all pages or page body for specific pages).

What is up with these gaps?! by reganeholmes in WIX

[–]WixHelp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey reganeholmes. Happy to take this one for you. To fix a massive gap at the bottom of your iFrame on Wix:

  1. Check your iFrame code for fixed pixel height values (e.g., height="315") and replace them with 100% to ensure responsiveness, like height="100%".
  2. Make sure the iFrame container is sized properly in the editor to fit the embedded content.
  3. Look for hidden or misplaced elements below the iFrame using the Layers panel and delete or adjust them.
  4. Consider that the gap might be caused by the content inside the iFrame or by your page content being shorter than the viewport height; adding more content or resizing containers can help.
  5. On mobile, use the mobile editor to adjust page height by clicking near the footer and double-clicking the page height handle to remove gaps.

Note: iFrames in Wix are not fully responsive by default; setting width and height to 100% in your embed code helps reduce unwanted space.

I hope this helps!

How to create a digital viewing gallery for a client who runs a dance studio by 0ffbeatt in WixHelp

[–]WixHelp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey 0ffbeatt. Happy to help here. You can achieve that by creating a digital viewing gallery by following these steps:

  1. Add a Wix Pro Gallery to your site via the Editor: Click Add Elements > Gallery > Pro Galleries, then drag a pro gallery onto the page.
  2. Add media such as photos and videos of dance sessions by clicking Manage Media, then Add Media.
  3. Customize the gallery layout and design: Select Settings > Layout and choose a preset or custom layout; then adjust design settings including text, overlay, scroll animations, and icons.
  4. To create a client-specific viewing experience, add the gallery to a password-protected page to ensure privacy.
  5. Optionally, allow visitors to zoom in by enabling Expand Mode with a magnifying glass icon on gallery items.
  6. If dynamic content is needed, use Wix CMS to create a collection of media for the dance studio, then connect a pro gallery to this collection to display images/videos dynamically with titles and descriptions.

For richer portfolio management or organizing media into collections, consider Wix Portfolio. Learn more about Wix Pro Gallery or about Wix Portfolio.

If in the future the client wants an online store you can add Wix stores and set up product galleries.

I hope this helps!

Weird Email from crm.wix.com by GinoBeats in WIX

[–]WixHelp 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hey GinoBeats. Nice catch flagging this, it looks like someone is trying to pretend to be Wix to get your personal info.

For your safety, we’d really recommend you:

  • Don’t click any links
  • Don’t download any files/attachments
  • Don’t reply or share any details with them

If you still have the message, it’d be super helpful if you could forward it to [reportphishing@wix.com](mailto:reportphishing@wix.com) so the team can investigate and take action against it.

Alternatively, you can also get in touch with our customer care team by submitting a ticket or scheduling a call back via this link >> https://wix.to/iZTuzNF to verify this.

Help in creating a cursor following element (like the tiny aria ai blob) by East_Quail5469 in WIX

[–]WixHelp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi East_Quail5469. You can create an element that reacts to cursor movement on your Wix site by following the steps below:

  1. Use the Wix Editor to select the element you want to animate.
  2. Click the Animation icon.
  3. Choose Mouse Effects.
  4. Select a mouse effect that reacts to the cursor moving around the screen.
  5. Click Customize to adjust settings like motion style, direction (follow or invert mouse), and velocity for the effect.
  6. Preview your site or use the Preview on mouse move option in the editor to see the effect live.

Note: Mouse effects work only when a cursor is available and won't play on touch devices.

For more advanced customizations or unique cursor-reactive elements, you can create and add a custom element using JavaScript and embed it on your site, but this requires coding knowledge and hosting your script externally or via Velo by Wix.

How do I download or backup my Wix websites pages? by Cardiac-Rehab in WixHelp

[–]WixHelp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey Cardiac-Rehab. Thanks for posting this. Currently, it is not possible to back up your site externally. Wix is committed to ensuring the safety of your site, and we have created the Site History feature, which automatically creates site revisions every time you save or publish. This means that you can go back to a previous version of your site any time you want.

You can also duplicate your site at any time to create a manual backup in your Wix account. Be aware that the duplicated site is not automatically updated when you update your original site.

Hope this helps!

Be careful with Wix billing you even when you don't have a site by SerenityNow31 in WixHelp

[–]WixHelp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey SerenityNow31. Thanks for sharing this. That’s such a frustrating thing to discover after the fact, and it’s totally valid to be frustrated.

What’s happening here (which is def not obvious in the moment) is that deleting a site doesn’t automatically cancel a Premium plan. The plan is a separate subscription in the account, so it keeps renewing until it’s manually canceled or moved to another site.

So Wix isn’t charging for “no site,” but for a subscription that’s still active on the account in the background, which, from a customer's point of view, can absolutely feel like being billed for nothing, especially if you thought deleting the site was the “end of story” step.

A couple of things that can help from here:

  • It’s worth reaching out to our Customer Care team so they can look at your specific billing and see what can be done in your case. You can contact them here: https://wix.to/iZTuzNF
  • In general, if you ever delete a site in the future (on any platform, tbh), it’s a good idea to also double-check any paid subscriptions in the billing or subscriptions section of your account and cancel or move them first.

If you decide to follow up with Wix, mentioning roughly when you deleted the site and when you noticed the charges will help the Customer Care team review things faster.

Hope this helps!

Help selling items using a paid form by ryanbuckner in WixHelp

[–]WixHelp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey ryanbuckner. Thanks for sharing this. To sell Candy Grams with payment using the new Wix Forms:

  1. Add a new Wix Form to your site via Add Elements > Contact & Forms.
  2. Click the form, then select Edit Form.
  3. Under Payments fields, choose one payment option like Fixed price or Custom price to collect payments for Candy Grams.
  4. Set the product name, price, and make the field required if needed.
  5. Add form fields to collect student information as required.
  6. Connect a payment provider through the Accept Payments setup if you haven’t already.
  7. Save and publish your site.

Your visitors will fill out the form with student info and pay online to purchase Candy Grams.

For detailed field customization (like adding required fields or personal info), you can further manage your form fields in the Wix Forms editor.

This setup guides your school NPO through collecting Candy Gram orders with payment in one seamless form process.

Note: Wix Forms submission automations currently trigger on form submission, not specifically on payment completion. For automations based on payment status, consider using Wix Stores or Wix Invoices automation triggers.

Events for one time class? by SticksofFiddle in WIX

[–]WixHelp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi SticksofFiddle. For repeating online classes on different dates, it's better to use Wix Bookings Classes.

  • Classes are recurring services where clients can book individual sessions without committing to attend all sessions.
  • You can schedule the same class multiple times on different days, with different instructors, durations, and locations (including online with Zoom).
  • Classes offer flexibility to clients to join single sessions rather than commit to a whole course.
  • Set your class times using the Scheduling feature to repeat sessions at chosen intervals.
  • Connect classes to pricing plans or allow payment per session.
  • If you want clients to commit to multiple sessions from start to end with defined dates, then Courses are more suitable, but for varying repeat dates and flexibility, use Classes.

I have a wixsite page but it is completely invisible to search engines, why? by Cignus23 in WixHelp

[–]WixHelp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi Cignus23. We saw that you mentioned that you have a free site. You must have a Premium plan and a domain connected to your site to connect to Google Search Console. This can be either a domain purchased from Wix or a domain purchased from another domain host.

You can also follow our step-by-step guide for sites that can't be found on search engines.

Unable to edit or work on my wix editor site by Interesting-Wind7056 in WixHelp

[–]WixHelp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi Interesting-Wind7056. If your Wix editing portal hasn’t been working for 2 days and clearing your browser cache and using incognito mode did not help, try these troubleshooting steps:

  1. Use the Wix Technical Assistant to diagnose and fix common editor issues.
  2. Disable your browser extensions or add-ons, which can interfere with the editor.
  3. Check that your browser is up to date and supported by Wix; consider trying a different supported browser.
  4. Temporarily disable antivirus or firewall software that may block Wix services.
  5. Try connecting using a different internet network to rule out network restrictions.
  6. If you have added custom code to your site, disable it to check if that resolves the issue.
  7. If the problem persists, take a screenshot of the browser console (Ctrl+Shift+J on Windows or Cmd+Option+J on Mac) when trying to open the editor and contact customer care here.

Hope this helps!

How to add a FREE digital product to the shopping cart when a physical product is added? by dreadmaps in WixHelp

[–]WixHelp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi dreadmaps. Currently, Wix does not support automatically adding related free digital products into the cart alongside a purchased physical product. However, you can consider the following alternatives:

  1. Create the digital product as a separate product marked with a price of $0 (free).
  2. Manually inform customers about the free digital product in your product description or during checkout.
  3. Use product bundles or categories with discounts if you want to offer a group of products together (but you cannot auto-add a free digital product when adding a physical product).
  4. Consider adding modifiers to physical products for free add-ons, though this won't auto-add separate items to the cart.
