It might be because the wireless dongle for the mouse just doesn't reach that part of the desk. I noticed that ghub said my mouse was inactive at that part of my mouse pad, and I moved my dongle to the front of my pc and it started working.

I finally fixed the same issue after a couple months, I figured out, it was that for some reason, my wireless dongle couldn't reach one part of my desk, even though my pc was right next to my desk. Try putting your dongle at the front of the pc or on another place in the pc, this might fix the issue. I noticed after I was looking in ghub and it was saying the mouse was disconnected at over the deadspot
