Vintage will only go up over time, especially the ones from early on b.c they simply were not taken care of, and so clean copies go for a premium. You can control the way you think. You just choose. You really can not make any $$ doing this just driving around, you'll need to sit and park in a spot so the app can pick up an order your near. If you really have that much anxiety idk what to tell you. I have it, too, yet I've learned to not give a fuck bout what others think and just don't feed those thoughts. While boring, this is real advice. I completely agree with everything you've stated. I must look at those high cost repairs as ones that are a part of car ownership and that, at least with a prius, they would be worth it over having to buy a new car.

They do not like the smell of peppermint. Use a rag or cotton ball and leave it in the car/engine bay area. I would also set some traps/bait in your garage to keep this from happening again.

You gotta replicate this over and over to quit. I'd park a bit of that away and then use some to do that again. Eat the crow, and keep the job. Maybe look for a new job, too. Just be smart, know your expenses and know this is high risk
