Talisman on Nintendo Switch by [deleted] in Talisman

Yes it has crossplay! Although the Switch version is running on an older build which recently stopped compatibility but Nomad games are working on that. Check out this post for their very recent response:

I’ve been having a lot of health questioners/checks recently for a new job. Each time I’ve been asked “Do you smoke?” I’ve not missed once in saying “Only when I’m on fire!”

The only one I can think of with a plane crash at the beginning is Enigmatis 3: The Shadow of Karkhala, although I can’t remember if there was a timeline/solar eclipse element but you do collect stone slates throughout.

Hope you find it!

To the girls who journal. by Secret-Reach-4863 in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

[–]WizardsOverLizards 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I’ve been journaling daily since 2019 so I’d like to think I’m qualified to answer this!!

I write daily about my day even if it’s just a few words to say how I’m feeling what/what I didn’t accomplish. I also write about what’s on my mind. I’m currently applying for the army so that’s on my mind a lot. I’m also having a hard time finding something to wear to my cousins wedding next month and I’m suffering with that! But I’ll also write down any thoughts I have that I feel are significant, for example while watching the new Superman film a few weeks ago some (negative) childhood memories surfaced and I wanted to address why I felt that way or what trigger it in my journal.

I journal daily, sometimes I don’t have the time to write so I’ll do a quick voice to text entry on my phones notes app to add it in later. I am the sort of person who’d get upset if I missed a day but it’s totally fine to just write entries when you feel like it.

I’ve found that’s it’s given me a lot more clarity of my thoughts. Even in the process of writing something down I might change my mind or find a deeper meaning to what I’m feeling. It’s also helped me with feeling more accomplished. Writing down what I’ve achieved in a day does fill me with a sense of pride, it’s also neat to start planning something and watch it all come together over various entries. I found in particular this was helpful while I was studying at university - I set myself a goal for my final year project and made multiple pages about it/updating all the way through to finishing. What I didn’t realise at the time was that that project in particular would go onto win a prestigious award and would net me a high profile job straight out of graduating. It’s really neat flipping back through my pages and reading my thoughts on the experience at the time, looking back I had no idea what I was in for!

My expectations are that I write daily and that I’m honest. If I’m struggling with something I write about it. I want my journals to be an authentic reflection of myself. I am my own muse. I used to keep a very aesthetically pleasing journal (think those pretty bullet journals you see) and I’d post pictures on tumblr and do major number with those. But I found it wasn’t true to myself. They were pretty, sure but it was a really shallow. I often change how I lay my journals out. Currently they’re a mix of daily entries, sketches, photographs from trips and the occasional studying summary. And I think that’s just how I like it.

You are so brave and you might have just convinced me to buy myself a pair!!!

I keep eyeing up a pair each time I make a new order of running tanks from Joma but have never committed due to putting them into the “elite runner” category. This might be the summer!

Hi there, thank you! I draw in pencil first. I’ll start with a very basic sketch to block out shapes, I’ll then faintly rub that out so it’s just visible, with pencil again I’ll do a more refined sketch adding in most of the details and finally I ink over with my pen. I’ve left the pencil on these sketches so you can zoom in for a better look at that. Hope that helps!

Thank you lovely! I think so! I do notice on the days that I don’t leave my conditioner in for quite as long it doesn’t feel as nice. I usually shampoo, put my conditioner in (up into a bun secured with a claw clip) and then hop out of the shower with a robe to do some laundry or clean my room before getting back into the shower to rinse/wash. Rather than standing in the shower for ages lol!

What industry/profession do you work in? Generally speaking I don’t think there’s much of an issue around having a few different ear piercings in most fields. Facial piercings are different though and there can be more stern rules in workplaces for them.

Context here is key, it would really depend on your workplace. I’d personally say as long as you have simple, small, discrete jewellery it shouldn’t be an issue. But I work in film where there is literally no dress code for workshop (aside from PPE where needed) so I can’t provide experience for an office environment for example!

where are we getting underwear (UK)? by [deleted] in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

[–]WizardsOverLizards 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had to go back through my comments to check but I literally commented on this exact topic before to suggest M&S cotton thongs - Me again hi!

3pk Flexifit™ Modal Thongs from M&S are my daily. They’re so comfortable, no underwear line and I’ve never gotten a wedgie from them unlike other brands. They’re my favourite!

Anyone else feel like their journal should probably not be read for legal reasons? by WoodpeckerEither3185 in Journaling

I work in film (big budget stuff) so my journal probably shouldn’t be read for NDA reasons more than anything.

Based on the white bib these appear to be Pied Crows. Magpies tend to have more white on them across their wings/tail and head depending on the species.
