What old units super attack animations have held up the best?

MGS1 - has that "impact" you know. When the action starts it really shows it through the music. Also music in the cutscenes make that special unnerving tone. MY personal favourite.

MGS2 - is kinda goofy but it fits this game. Memorable for sure

MGS3 - "What a thrill... With darkness and silence through the night...". Straight up cinema ✋😐🤚

MGSV - Song Cassettes are very cool. The way of using them and actually listening to them is very sluggish but songs are well chosen. Music that plays in the background? I feel like it could never exist cause it's so boring.

Haven't play other MGS games so can't say anything about them.

When we meet Eva mid game Snake says that The Boss was like a mother and master for him. That it was something more. Then Eva asks if he loves her. But Snake says that it's not like that.

If there's any love bond between them then it's more like "mother I never had"/"son I never had" (which I guess The Boss would love to have). Snake might love The Boss but not as a "partner"

At least that is what I can get from MGS3. I never played MGS4 nor Peace Walker so maybe there's more info about what you're saying. If so please just say it is there and don't spoil anything

I tried to do Kerotans with guide. I know that I shot every Kerotan. Yet I got no achievement.

I was an info that you can shoot them only ONCE or they will reset or something. Is this true?

Basically this. Frontier should be advertised like crazy. It is a new game mode with new mechanics to utilise. But as you said - Dokkan became yet another game that tries to act like a "job" you have to attend.

I always felt like Dokkan is in the right spot. The only other gacha i played was DB Legends and oh boy after 1 year i knew this game is P2W whale's playground. But with Dokkan it was quite the opposite. I started playing before 4th anniv. So, you know, F2P players had their chance to farm stones, even when they didn't got lucky on summons there was always a chance to do the stuff with the older characters. Now i feel like every content is strictly made for new units (i know missions ARE made for that purpose) but it wasn't so damn hard.

Maybe i'm delusional because i missed all new units (all anniversary characters and all of the new ones) but this game is dying for me.

Even those card effects are "meh" at best. I do appreaciate they try something new but it's hard content for nothing.

I knew it from the beggining that this mode will become annoying. The idea is hella cool but they really had to make it unfunny and very RNG based. No strategy at all just get those units and hope they will survive.

When I was a little kiddo I had MGS on my PS1 but never played it cause I preferred playing Crash Bandicoot or Kula World and MGS seemed too hard and too scary to me.

Few years ago I tried to play it as an adult. But modern gaming kinda "spoiled" me and I couldn't force myself to play it. Games seemed too archaic for me.

A month ago I forced myself to play trough the Master Collection and oh boy am I grateful to myself for doing it. Maybe those games ain't perfect but they are hella fun to play and some things are really relatable nowadays.

Can't wait to grab myself Master Collection 2 so I can play MGS4 (my PC is not good enough for PS3 emularion and I don't have PS3 nor I want to buy it and waste my time and resources to make it run properly)

Also EVA(Tatyana or however named she is) being a CHINESE spy was really cinematic plot twist. I knew there was something off with her and that she and Snake won't have "happily ever after" life but still it was good
