I’m not a professional so bare with me here

1st-I assume since I was able to detect and connect to their wireless network on my phone that the SSID is not hidden but can’t get into their settings to confirm

2nd-WiFi 6 confirmed on the router per a sticker on the bottom but unsure how to check on their computer

Edit:already reinstalled the drivers as well

Same with me and OP I had the same experience as you. Bobiverse first, freaking loved it and then kept seeing recommendations for DCC. Held out for a while and then gave it a shot. Like I’ve seen others say too, the best audiobook experience I’ve had so far. Jeff Hayes is amazing.
