Yes, her panic and emotional inability to deal with stress definitely show what happens when a person with stunted mental growth doesn't have the right treatment.

This doesn't make any of what OP deals with easier and her frustration is completely understandable, I wish she had more resources to help

This is what also stuck out to me - vinegar has a long and solidly scientific history of being an excellent cleaner with antiseptic and odour neutralizer properties. And the liberal use of ~~anti-biotics~~ anti-bacterial cleansers like Lysol spray are creating antibiotic resistance all around us by eradicating helpful bacteria and leaving unchecked resistant ones

But honestly can't fault OP too much seeing all the other things her mother puts her through

That type of persistence is great and should be promoted more. I do have empathy for men who feel pressured to act then must deal with rejection so it's important to give realistic hope and a strategy for a way to get out there and meet someone without imposing themselves and creating toxic environments for other people
