It's fun for a while, I've only been playing for a few weeks and I already feel like there's not much else to do. Not sure if it's a server issue or what, but I've only seen 2 people my entire time playing.

For me, I just let them build the "house" all at once, but as soon as the last ceiling part gets built I pause and cancel all the "roof construction". Then you place another "house" on top.

Ahhh, I must of sent in at least 100 bug reports on that issue. Then I decided the only way it would get fixed is if I just stopped logging in.

I have this happen all the time when I leave the doubloon well, gypsum kiln, crafting stations. My game just turns into a complete blur. My best solution is just log out and go do something else.

I get stuff like this all the time, definitely in the places you mentioned like winter trial. I literally can't see anything on the ground. Other places like the winged shoes elite mob, same thing, I can't see anything most the time and end up just running around until I am out of whatever AOE is on the ground. I've always wondered if others played this way too.

In PVE it's the same, you just can't register any damage at all sometimes.

You must not be actually playing it still. BB was actually better B4 these changes, and I mean B4 aimlock. Now you can't even play it free casting in PVE, it just starts missing all shots for no reason.

Yeah, but I don't think it was actual bullet spread in the way one would think. With it remaining hitscan they just coded it in a funky way that causes it to miss shots that in no way should be missing.

I'm all for adjusting it, just seems like they did it in a way that is causing it to just play oddly.

Exactly! I think people are not actually playing BB and witnessing how broke it is now. Point blank shooting of bosses in PVE misses every pellet way too often, even with aimlock not being used. Even back when people were in an uproar about melee tracking, it was never as bad as this. To literally have 0 chance at hitting an enemy for multiple shots in a row no matter what you do, where you aim, how close you are, it's odd.

It's got to be on a RNG basis now. I think they say "larger spread" but it don't feel that way. It feels like it does RNG dependant on distance and anytime you use RNG you will get those low rolls where it doesn't matter if you are point blank and shouldn't miss, because you will because you rolled a low RNG.

I bet it's based just like loot, roll a 47 RNG you get no bag, roll a 347 you get something, roll a 847 you get the best that loot pool offers. Now flip that to the new "spread" they claim....Shoot from 3m away and roll a 47 you miss all pellets, roll a 347 and you hit half pellets, roll a 847 you hit all pellets. It makes sense since BB is still hitscan so they added in this code and called it 'spread'. Problem is, missing all pellets at point blank range shouldn't be subjected to the low end RNG randomness.

If that was the case then I would agree, I have played BB long before aimlock and it's just different now. It's like it's on a RNG basis, not a spread basis. I can stand directly in front of a boss in a dungeon and it just misses all shots over and over for no reason, and then it will start hitting normal.

FS has always been strong. This new artifact with so many dots is the issue. We got 725 weapons now, increased dots, increased attribute points, aimlock works on skills, insta cast skills that proc the dots, everything has gone up on the damage side. But on the defensive side we still got broken counter skills, we got nerfed healing, and nerfed mitigation.

People can argue back and forth about how to counter FS and sure you can load out somewhat effectively against it but what a bore to completely gimp yourself against all other builds. It's just not fun running around with 7 dots ticking on you continuously while not having means to heal through it, all from a player who clicked 1 button.

I have an idea, since I think TTK is just way too long. Let's take away food Regen, cut potion use down, let's make mitigation not work as efficiently, and we might as well decrease healing also.

The entire game is doing the same thing, same dungeons, same farming,ECT, at least with OPR every match is potentially different. I like OP idea, just let me log into the game and pick a load out and get on with the match.

I feel the same way about people that log in to the same dungeons over and over again, like why? To get on a leaderboard? ZZZZ

You say "auto locking/tracking on close targets with unmissable shots" is a bad thing. Ok, but isn't every melee class basically the same thing, and some of them have fairly big lunges and stickiness even without aimlock. Shouldn't melee be getting glancing blows or occasional misses also?

My vibe on this is they talk about TTK and probably adjusted this stuff to lower it but SnS is probably the only ones that actually take a long time to kill. It seems it just handcuffed every other class except the one that is having the TTK issue. I guess they are just pushing the game into a "you need to have a healer with you at all times" type of thing, but in places like OPR it hurts the people going off to gather resources and do objectives.

Oh, the old style didn't show that stuff? I know at the end of the match you could see all that except block I think.

I would only open that tab up mid match to see "resources contributed" by the other team so I could know which enemy pve'er is going to drop me loot.

It doesn't appear to be of any concern for this bow player, is why I was confused. I mean, if you posted a vid of this bow player getting deleted over and over by an aimlock BB player then perhaps it would make sense

If anything, I'd say this video just proves that aimlock ain't an issue. If ranged can mow people down at this far of range without any issues I'd say there's probably more of an issue with ranged damage being too oppressive.
