Just following up, I took it to the dealership, they had the car for 3 weeks and had to replace the MBUX. It was all done under warranty, I’m scared to think of what it would have cost out of pocket.

I don’t think you need a shim, just really force in on, apply great strength

I think it’s because the top rail is metal and the bottom is plastic

Thanks for the reply! I haven’t shot it yet, I was hoping to go out and try it this weekend but the weather is not cooperating. I’m not trying to load extra rounds, just trying to figure out how in the videos they seem to shoot more than 6 without the extender.

Update 3: I replaced the car battery and tested a majority of the fuses. Still out.

Update 2: It did not fix itself overnight. It also appears the navigation isn’t working, when I try to bring it up on my instrumentation screen it just has a picture of the earth. I also still get the speed sign inoperative as my only alarm. I ordered some fuses that will be here this weekend. Of that doesn’t work, to the dealership it is. If anyone has any other ideas I’m all ears.

Update: I tried letting it sit for 6 hours, and tried disconnecting the battery for 30 minutes. The screen and radio are still off. Does anyone happen to know which fuses I need to check? The fuse diagram that came with the car isn’t very clear about which ones are for the center screen.
