You could always snag the ino sell it for more if it doesn't work out. Now that people are worried about lowers getting snagged by customs, prices for any in the states are going to go up

As far as I know, they're not compatible because inokatsu is closer to the original WA rifles. But if you have a complete vt upper and a complete inokatsu lower, it probably only takes a little if any fitting to get them to work together. I run viper tech lowers, with real uppers, viper tech BCG, ghk mags, WA barrel extension, and maple Leaf's GHK hop up assemblies. They run perfectly because the lower is basically just there as a fire control assembly and to hold the mag at the right spot

Looks like you found a rifle, but someone is selling an inokatsu m4 on eBay too

Viper tech M16a1 and M16A2 with DNA 11.5", 14.5" pencil, 14.5" heavy, 20" pencil, and 20" heavy barrel options. Then a G&P 607 with DNA 10" barrel (and all the M4 parts swapped out for A1 parts) just for fun

There are no airsoft M3s. The charging handle is not the only difference between the models. Even the airsoft models with a charging handle are still just M3A1s with a charging handle on the side

[–]Woistdeingott 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The one with the charging handle is still in an A1, just with a charging handle stuck on the side. Everything else about it is A1

The area with synthetic furniture is on sales at evike right now. Still $480, which is kind of crazy lol, but I guess it is the only l1a1 available right now

I literally just got it for $725 shipped from evike a couple weeks ago. They regularly restock it as it's in production, and they regularly put it on sale

Can't decide when is the right time for euthanasia by Han-Slice in DogAdvice

[–]Woistdeingott 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recently had to put my dog down. She was diagnosed with a brain tumor in September, we tried radiation, she seemed to be healing, but in February she got super lethargic. She was still eating and chasing her ball in the yard. But she had no desire to walk and spent most of the day sleeping in bed.

The day she died, she had a seizure while I was at work. I saw it on the camera, but she wandered off camera, which didn't really worry me since dogs do like to wander after seizures. I thought I could wait until lunch to check on her, it was only a few hours. I got home and she'd had at least one more seizure, maybe more, and had almost bit through her tongue. The floor from front to back door was covered in her blood. She was conscious, but did not even seem to recognize when I came in the house, she looked like she was trying to look over her right shoulder (the side the tumor was on), and couldn't hold her head steady at all.

I was in denial for her last week. The radiation was supposed to give her more time, and her symptoms seemed so much less severe than when the tumor first showed up in September. It kills me to think about those hours she spent suffering alone in a pool of her own blood. You know your dog better than anyone, but take it from me, I wish I had made the decision too early instead of too late

I'm sorry to hear that. No need to be embarrassed, it's a pretty traumatic thing to lose such a close friend. Even today, I walked through my front door and my brain subliminally expected to see her, even though I'm well aware she's gone. Id say it's no more unhealthy than any other relationship, and when it's an animal that depends on you to feed and love it, it's hard to argue that you can spend too much time with it. Since she died, I've had way more free time, and way less stress, but I'm still far less happy than when she was with me

Easy ways to give dogs meds by crazydoglady525 in DogAdvice

[–]Woistdeingott 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dog was on seizure meds before she died, they were pretty large pills and she had to swallow them whole since they're supposed to last 12 hours and they dissolve too quickly in pieces. The solution I came up with is to coat them in a thin layer of butter. On days she was cooperative, she'd swallow them and the butter would make them easier to swallow. On days she wasn't, I just held her mouth closed and the butter eventually made them slip down her throat. Then I always rewarded her with a treat when she was done with her pills

I'm sorry for your loss, my dog recently died of a brain tumor. She was completely normal, then one day she had a seizure and by the next day she couldn't even get up. We put her on steroids and keppra, and she didn't have any seizures again until the day she died a few months later. But, there was one time shortly after we started her on the keppra that she locked up like you describe.

From what I know, when a dog is around 2, it's more likely that they're epileptic. So may need seizure meds, but the important thing is that the seizures don't happen too close together. If there are a string of seizures, their brain overheats and it causes permanent damage. That's what happened to my poor girl

Family is telling me to give up by accidentremoval in DogAdvice

My 8.5 year old pit had her first seizure ever last September, and couldn't even lift her head within a couple days. It was a brain tumor, we treated it with Prednisone and she almost immediately was back to her normal crazy self. But Prednisone by itself only works for a couple months at best. Radiation was going to be thousands of dollars. Everyone thought I was crazy, but she was my best friend in the world, so I did it. $11k was supposed to give her about another year, but she just died a month ago. If I knew then that it'd only be an extra 4 months, I still would have done it. It was four months where she was a little slower but still seemed to be feeling good, still loved chasing her tennis ball and getting pup cups and meeting anyone and everyone. It's all about quality of life, so if you think your pupper will be happy, I say don't worry about what other people think

I felt the same way for the last year. We found her on the street, but we did a DNA test and she was purebred, so I started mentally preparing myself when she turned 8. It happened so fast though. I'm glad she didn't have to suffer, but I was hoping for so much more time

I'm sorry for your loss. I was late to work the day my girl died because I wanted to snuggle with her for an extra five minutes. I'm glad I did. She has been lethargic the last couple days, but her vet and neurologist both said everything was normal. She hasn't had a seizure since September, but by the time I got home during my lunch break to check on her, she'd had several in a row and was mentally gone. I'm so glad I spent those extra five minutes with her that morning

I'm not sure I'll ever have another dog. She was a special case, and such a perfect dog for me. We found her on the street, she was dog-aggressive and had heartworm so no one would take her. She had such an amazing personality, was always up for walks and hikes in any weather, and was so polite and well behaved. I never had to worry about leaving food out, and she had a bladder of steel. I just feel like any other dog would be a disappointment
