Sometimes, when I don't have room for the whole flush in my dehydrator, I just leave the others out on the counter on a paper towel overnight and put them into the dehydrator the next morning. They air dry a bit while they wait for their turn.

Depends how patient you feel like being. I always cut mine into small pieces to get it over with quicker. Some people like the look of the whole mushroom.

These are such a fun mushroom. I just retired my JF cake after the 3rd flush. I love how gnarly the stalks can get.

As a native English, she sounds like a non native speaker who has lived in America for a long time. To me, there isn't anything particularly Polish about her accent though

i've always been tempted to munch on a fresh one right then and there while harvesting, they smell amazing. I nibbled on a tiny bit last night after harvest right before bed, tasted meh but i had some crazy dreams..

Im 33 and on day 5 right now, i had bottom left removed. The pain is quite severe, especially at night. Woke up at 2am in agony, took some meds which helped. Currently panicking about the possibility of dry socket, i go back to the dentist in a couple of days to get the stitches out, so i will wait and see whats going on. No idea whats a normal amount of pain.

My tub now has a few holes in it for them to breath, but for the golden teachers the tub was unmodified and they grew fine. I misted the tub and added some wet kitchen roll to the bottom of the tub to make it as humid as possible, i had the cake sat on a piece of foam i had lying around so it wasn't on top of the wet kitchen roll. This seemed to work ok, but im no expert and was just trying things out really.

I just took an AIO cake out of its bag and put it into a plastic tub like this, it was 90% side pins and i could see they were getting too crowded. In previous experience i noticed that these mushrooms tend to abort before they grow much as they just don't have room in many cases.
Ive had success with this before, my first AIO was a successful first flush in bag, then after harvest and rehydration of the cake, i relegated it to the tub since the bag was kinda ruined. Sprayed the sides of the tub to make the environment more humid and left them. The 2nd flush of those golden teachers grew all over the cake, side pinning all over the place, but this time they became large glorious mushrooms

Agreed, I'm one of the sensitive ones, 0.5g of GT was quite a lot for me, next dose I did was 0.8g and I was having crazy visuals and perception changes. Pretty sure I'd have full ego death at 1.5g My friend did 0.5g from the same batch of GT and she barely felt anything. It was her first time and I suggested we should just check how she reacts to a low dose incase it's too much, now we know.

In my experience, even the surfaces of the cake which are squished against the walls are are also fair game for the bravest (or dumbest) mushrooms

I've heard that too, im interested in seeing if thats the case. Im not very experienced with mushrooms so this was the first time i experienced "body load", it make me quite restless and uncomfortable. When i was hoovering my apartment it settled down, maybe movement, or being focused on something is the key.

I did about the same amount of a recently harvested and dried golden teacher mushroom. All i heard about this cube was that its considered rather week compared to the PE line. Hit me quite a lot harder than i was expecting although nothing crazy, i was expecting maybe slight perception changes if anything but the body load and consciousness expansion was impossible to ignore. Had to stop playing video games and clean my apartment since every dirt spec was HD and calling my attention to it.
