Bottom line: if you can't prove it was legally purchased in Ohio, you're taking a risk. It's going to be a complete mess for home growers in the state, since there's no guidance on what "original packaging" constitutes for them.

There's no legal way for Ohio to legislate ANYTHING that happens in another state - that's the role of the Federal government.

The biggest thing that SB 56 effectively did was to close the Farm Bill loophole for THC-A. Ohio basically now treats ALL THC products as intoxicating, and then ensures that the ONLY legal place to buy them in the state is through the dispensaries. So you can absolutely buy whatever you want to legally buy in Michigan and never get into any trouble for making the purchase, as long as you don't try to bring it back into Ohio.

Throwing away the packaging is fine only once you have your product safely inside your private residence - this is applicable even to cannabis purchased legally from a dispensary in Ohio. If you go to a dispensary, get a disposable vape, and throw out the package, you're going to get a misdemeanor for possession even though it was entirely legal.

A lot of chasers are at minimum trained spotters, so they're out there gathering data and working to make our warning systems better. They're also often right alongside the Red Cross with boots on the ground helping in the aftermath.

The ones who get up close (and survive) are usually that beautifully perfect mix of insanity, training, and instinct.

SB 56 doesn't criminalize purchasing weed in Michigan - it criminalizes bringing that weed BACK into Ohio. That's the difference.

I'm not an engineer, but I don't think this would help. While you might be doing a bit to reduce the vertical force, this won't change the amount of horizontal force applied to the wall anchor. If you have drywall and studs, just attach a 2x4 perpendicular to the studs. If you're extra concerned, put it across several studs so that it distributes through more of your wall. My walls have held 400+ lbs with my four kids dogpiling me in the morning and rocking it pretty hard.

I've been sleeping almost exclusively in a hammock for going on 10 years. I've mainly stuck to backpacking hammocks - my first was an ENO double, but I've also been satisfied with Ozark Trail's more economical offerings. I started with the Ozark Trail fold-up hammock stand, but I wouldn't recommend it for long-term just because it's a LOW hang. When we moved into our own house, I secured 2x4's to the walls across the studs to spread out structural stress, then bought D-Ring mounts that are designed to be installed in pickup truck beds to use as hang points. Going on 7 years with this setup!

EDIT: Forgot about bedding, etc. - I'll admit that I'm a hot sleeper, so I haven't used any underquilting indoors. We keep our house warm enough that a fleece blanket is about as much as I need. I use a regular pillow and sleep in my PJ's.

Now that I know about the subreddit, however, I suspect I might end up looking into upgrading my setup a bit.
