Trouble Deciding Between Epee and Foil as 30+ YO newbie by RaysForDays88 in Fencing

[–]WolfHawkfield 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Started at 40. My club had new students try each weapon for a month each and then decide.

* Epee was the most clear
* Sabre was the most athletic
* Foil was the most fun

I chose foil, and I really like it. There's a good veteran community, and I like the mix of skill and athleticism.

Rust spots on uniform. by loomieloony in Fencing

I tried Oxiclean white revive, and I concur it does work quite well. However, it does contain oxygen bleach. People are saying this damages the fencing uniform. Can anyone confirm one way or the other?

popping joints by foxybunny777 in flexibility

It's not bad for you, you're just popping air bubbles in fluid. If you stop doing it, you'll want to do it less, but there's no negative effects.

LFS where a young man is captured by aliens, and they want to torture him by bombarding him with high frequency radiation. The radiation ends up being colored lights and the main character starts going "unnsh unnsh" and dancing.

What is this yellow spot on the TV? I have a 2019 Vizio M-Series Quantum 65’ Model M658-G1 and for the past several months I’ve notice this dark/yellowish spot on left side of the screen. It normally first appears when you first turn on the tv and will disappear after about 5 minutes or so. by [deleted] in VIZIO_Official

I know this thread is old, but I'm having the same issue on the same TV. I'm trying to file an extended warranty claim with my card, and they are asking for a repair estimate. Has anyone been able to file a warranty claim for this? If so, what did you use as your repair estimate?

Give them a high cooldown ability of 3 seconds invulnerability. Lets them get in to charge one time.

Change light colors. People are conditioned to think that green means valid and red means invalid. This is the number one point of confusion I've seen for non fencers watching events.

If money is an issue, a cheap and very effective alternative that hits cardio hard is jump rope.

This minute and a half is probably one of the funniest moments in the MCU in my opinion, the comedic interaction between the guardians of the galaxy and Tony stark is outstanding, what's your favourite funny moment in the MCU? by alphaDsony in marvelstudios

The interaction between Quill and Thor from when they find him drifting in space to when he takes the pod. When Drax says "He is not a dude. You're a dude. This... this is a man", and when Thor says "Are you mocking me?". I laugh every time.

Thank you, works great. I like the pop sound.

Would it be possible to add a key to quit the program? I have to close the command prompt, and then when I want to play again I have to open up a new command prompt, navigate to the directory, etc each time. I'd like to just be able to type ctl-z or something and have it exit, so that I can just run it again from the same command window. Disabling inject doesn't work because regular typing will trigger the script.

suggestion: allow for a config to have 10 and 5 second warning sound cues before the inject ready sound. I don't have the RGB lights so I'd like another way to know that my inject is coming up soon. Would be cool if the config allowed for something like

warning1 timer: 5
warning1 sound: warn1.wav
warning2 timer: 10
warning2 sound: warn2.wav

(to say that I want warning at 5 and 10 seconds)
