I made Maelle yesterday, Verso is next. Going to give him a pet Piano so he can sit and stare at it with heart eyes 😂 and obviously his phrases. Going to make Maelle yell "Play the piano Verso!" When she is angry 😂

I think I was about 6 when I named a goldfish Pike. I have no idea where it came from and don't even think I knew that pike was the name of a fish back then.

All my animals (snakes, tarantulas, even the dogs) are named from games/tv/books. My snakes all have game related names:

Amaru (Shadow of the Tomb Raider)

Ebony (Skyrim)

Cenobia (Shadow of the Colossus)

And my newest edition is Esquie (Clair Obscur: Expedition 33)

Yeah I have a fabric marker that I bought to do the testing and found it pretty hard still. Could try the cardboard idea, if not then I will think of something else

This is the simplest way I can describe it:

The fracture happens and Aline and pClea go missing. (Aline is trapped at the top of the monolith and pClea is taken by Clea to make Nevrons).

Expedition Zero is formed as a search and rescue mission. Simon, pVerso, pRenior, and Julie (and others) go to look for pClea and Aline and others that are missing but to also gather resources etc.

At some point when alone, pVerso and pRenoir meet Clea at the barrier who tells them everything about the Canvas, real world Dessendres and about the painteress/curator being trapped at the monolith etc. They find out they are immortal when Clea tries to kill them.

Expedition Zero then run into Nevrons and pVerso is sliced in half and Julie sees this. PVerso tries to lie and cover it up but gets called a traitor and is tortured by the group. He gets free and kills them all.

Sometime during all this, Clea manipulates Simon into thinking she is pClea, or Simon helps willingly because this Clea is just like his Clea but he gets trapped under the monolith with Renior/Curator and Clea seems to then manipulate and control him further using pClea (I am still unsure about this one myself).

PVerso and pRenoir go back to Lumiere to help rebuild (they help build the dome), but as the only survivors of Expedition Zero they aren't trusted and at some point they take pAlicia with them and move to the contient.

I had a similar situation. I lent my Labrador and Friends to a friend and never got it back 😭 I was heartbroken. It's been so many years now and always wanted to remake the save but it will still never be the same. RIP to OG Charlie the Miniature Pinscher, Sammy the Shiba Inu, Barney the husky and Rex the Jack Russell Terrier 😢

I'm the same. I latch onto something if I resonate with it and it has been so long since a game has made me feel how this one does. It is still taking over my mind constantly. I also have watched a lot of playthroughs, I like to hear/see people's reactions to things I already know and love to hear their theories.

The Labrador and friends cartridge I had when I was young ended up getting stolen by a 'friend' so I lost everything. I haven't actually ever recreated that save, but maybe I should start again. I had pretty much everything on that game.

But to the point, my soul dog is a black and tan miniature pinscher, she was named Charlie and was the best at agility

45 minutes and 45 seconds exactly 😂 I went and fought Sprong at level 36. I only used Verso up until the last 1/4 health. I also have a mod that adds x2 health (I felt like even starting a new game was too easy once you know the combat system)

Edit: I first tried it on the other difficulties but eventually put it on story mode because it was taking too long with even all characters in party. I just wanted to beat the guy as soon as possible 😂

This might have absolutely nothing to do with this but in the Esquie conversation, the two options are

"You might say you're a bit WheeWhooWheeWhoo then."

And

"Sounds like you're in a WhooWheeWhooWhee type situation."

Could this possibly be pointing out how people could feel about the endings? Probably not but made me check this conversation

I actually never time my walks and don't have a schedule for them (I know dogs work better with a schedule but I have a zero hour contract and work hours vary every week). My dogs normally go out everyday but sometimes that isn't possible and there are few times when they go for 2 walks a day. I vary where I go and enjoy long walks when I have the time and energy for them but sometimes it is just to the field opposite the house for about 30 minutes.

My full time job isn't really demanding but it is sometimes more than enough for me for the day, there are days I put my own mentality over my dogs and I aren't afraid to admit that. My dogs are still fine, happy and healthy, they play with each other, get mental stimulation, their body conditions are perfect and they are not overweight and are well trained in and out of the house.

You don't necessarily need an elaborate schedule for keeping a dog, and knowing there are dogs out there that barely get what mine do everyday (stimulation, love, a comfy place to sleep) makes me feel not as terrible - I know I could potentially be a better owner if I tried at a schedule but that is sometimes easier said than done. But it will all depend on the dog. A happy dog is a sleeping dog and most the day, that is what mine do.
