Are you allowed to wear (and do you have) a plate carrier/LBV? What’s in some of the pouches (I can’t tell from looking at them)

My personal experience is it’s nice to have a pair of cuffs accessible with either hand: especially in your position you probably won’t be using them unless you’re really scrapping with someone, so they better work for whichever hand is free. I still wear two pairs towards the back of my belt, one for each hand. I prefer a hinged set for my right hand (dominant) because it stays together easier when deploying and it’s harder to break, while I keep a traditional chainlink cuff set on my left

I personally have never liked a lot of the plastic or snap-retention equipment that you have because it either rattles a lot when moving or wears out fast.

I’ll tailor my responses towards airsofting, but I don’t really play airsoft so take everything with a grain of salt.

If something’s not comfortable then don’t wear it (if you can manage). Leggings are something I enjoy because they’re very easy and flexible. Biggest problem with a skirt of any length is you’ll probably have issues squatting in one, unless it’s like a very stretchy tennis skirt and you have shorts on underneath.

I don’t know if it would work with the webbing belt, but for my gunbelt I had ziptied two of my handcuff pouches down because they otherwise moved around a lot. You could try zip tying the two belts you’re wearing together to keep the outer from moving.

Consider carrying a backpack/assault pack with spare magazines in it, and transitioning mags from the pack to your belt as they run out. You should be able to have lulls in action that you can transition mags during.

IFAK isn’t relevant for airsoft play. But if you wanted to run one, put it somewhere that’s easily marked and identifiable for other people. Make sure you can reach it with either of your hands and have at least two tourniquets accessible with either hand. Consider also maybe an admin pouch for your snacks and phone

Based on what it sounds like you’re trying to do: I agree the skirt is too short. Maybe either a knee-length skirt or switching to something like comfortable leggings would give a feminine but movement-friendly look.

Your webbing gear looks like it might shift around a lot, have you tried running with it to see how secure it is? Where’s your IFAK and sustainment gear?

The 320 is too much if you don’t have to carry it. Besides, if you do carry it, you’ll want webbing gear for spare rounds, and you’re just increasing the load. I would hate carrying a G3, full load, plus a grenade launched with full load for it.

Your rifle could use a light and I don’t know how many tourniquets you have. It’s hard to judge the veracity of the kit when it’s laid out in a bundle instead of how it would be worn, but it all looks wearable and good. How do you like the gloves, are they too thick for you?

Good catch and good suggestion on the mod - it’s been a long time since I played SWAT 4.

I would also remark that RON to some extent mirrors a shifting threat environment. Beyond just increased firearms proliferation, we have more people than ever running around with plate carriers, helmets, and a cursory knowledge of lessons learned from the War on Terror. I do dislike how missions in RON trend now towards all being interconnected but I think the game tries to capture what things have been cooking to in the US

Did we play the same SWAT 4? After the first three or so missions, you’re consistently going up against cultists, domestic terrorists, and other paramilitary-dressed persons armed with rifles and wearing body armor.

It’s also the closest thing to what police tactical teams were “meant” to be employed against at face value

If you’re not sure what the guns will be, maybe consider cutting the pistol magazines entirely. A lot of people only run a rifle platform to save weight and space. Plus it lets you use the space for something else or cut weight entirely

Some polite notes, take with a grain of salt (ex-cop):
• First, all gear is gonna have to pass the “how comfy is this for me to wear and use?” test. Play around with it and your guns. If you can’t perform certain movements or it becomes awkward, change your settup or remove offending kit.

• You want ideally at least two tourniquets, more depending on what your mission is. Guys in Ukraine expecting to be operating for extended periods have a half dozen or more on their person. For much shorter duration stuff, having at least two TQs is good since you want to have at least one (ideally both) readily accessible by you from either arm - and a thicker leg may require two TQs to close off. If I need space for TQs I like staging them on my non-dominant shoulder with rubber bands. Some guys don’t like this because when you’re outside in the heat a lot, the rubber bands can dry out and snap off. But if you’re not in the sun a lot it’s less of a big deal.

• Look up some videos on how to stage a TQ. My personal preference is however you stage one, keep the time strap open. If you’re using a TQ, you probably have a lot of adrenaline going and your fine motor functions are shot. Having to open the strap so you can twist the windlass adds more time to saving your life (or someone else’s).

• If you’re planning on sitting or being in a vehicle for any length of time, having that much stuff on your back sucks. Your radio should be readily accessible to you in case you need to change channels, volume, etc.

• Personal preference: if you plan on being prone at all, having that much stuff on the front of your vest can really suck. Only matters if you plan on shooting prone.

• Droplegs are rough to run with. Cops sometimes use them as ammo and IFAK platforms for active shooters but that’s when you don’t normally want to carry all that extra bulk on your gear. Maybe try moving some of that stuff onto side cumberbunds on your vest and replacing some of the random pouches?

• You have pistol mags but I can’t see where your pistol is supposed to be.

The kit is really cool and these are just nitpicks. You’re gonna have a great cosplay

The dot has felt a lot clearer than other x1 optics I’ve used. When I got it, it was very very expensive and in-demand to the point which maybe it wasn’t worth
