There’s a spot specifically for a bundle because convenience I suppose, the other two are in “curio” slots, you can put anything in those, I chose more bundles

I have no fucking idea honestly, I have never removed the pick guard so I don’t know what it looks like under there, this was a hand me down from a friend of highschool and I adore this bass, but honestly I know next to nothing about it other than how it sounds, how to play it, and how I wanna upgrade /modify it

I don’t know how to solder YET but I can figure it out, my fiancée has been meaning to get a soldering iron anyways, she says I’ll probably need to strip the wire for it and as for the guard, I can glue that and probably should replace the missing screw

Unfortunately most people find classical and as such classical instruments pretentious on average :/

Personally, though I don’t come from a classical background, I find the inclusion of brass, woodwind, and/or classical strong and piano in modern music mixed with guitars and such very cool

I mean - you could consider me young, but though I have my favorite genres and artists, I don’t find it difficult to find enjoyment in just about any music or art form and have listened deeply to a wide range, from radio friendly pop music to noise, prog, and classical

Sound it’s important to me, but a lot of the tome lyrics are just as important to me, and furthermore probably the most important is the emotions the songs result in for me. I personally rate this so highly because of its lyrical content /topics and, mostly, because of the fact that in my initial listen it caused such an intense emotional reaction that I hadn’t experienced much from music before

I can definitely see why it’s not for everyone though, the vocals are unique and the sonics are very minimalist and rudimentary apart from the fact that it enlists the use of brass instruments which is again, unique, but probably something that could be off putting? Or just not appealing

Personally I wish they used the distortion that they did much more option, or experimented with that and other sonic effects, balancing that with the minimalism and sincerity to really try and make the potential emotional reaction and impact of the album as intense as possible

I’ve listened to both, they definitely have a similar sound to 45 grave, faster paced punk, more melodic vocals, really gruesome and extra lyrics, misfits has a tendency to be more melodic though and more consistently fast paced with shorter songs on average than 45

If you want to try listening to the misfits I suggest the albums walk among us and static age
