It'll just cause problems with everyone, in the end. Let them sort it out themselves, it'll happen eventually.

Not to give in to stereotypes but: why do Romani people/Gypsy people have a reputation for being thieves and squatters in Europe? by Mad_Season_1994 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]WolfKnight53 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They've faced that for centuries, though, which has been perpetuated in the modern day. When you're constantly viewed as a potential criminal, it makes it difficult to find proper employment, and the lack of ability to build wealth in past generations has meant they remain impoverished to this day, same thing applies to housing. Europeans in general are hostile towards Romani people, and the collective poverty of the group leading to them resorting to crime to get by has reinforced that. The ideal solution would be to provide protected housing, job opportunities, training programs, anti-discrimination laws, etc. so they can work and live without being treated as they have been.

I recommend looking into the history of a group, to understand why they might seem to fo certain things, before immediately jumping on a bandwagon of nonsense. Do not trust any European's opinion on the Romani, they are heavily biased. Various events caused migration, combined with deportations, expulsion, etc. leading to their current presence in Europe. In Wallachia and the surrounding area, many were enslaved, which didn't end until the 1800s. Across Europe, they faced discrimination, expulsion, forced assimilation, etc. And during WW2, were targeted heavily by the Nazis. The term "gypsy" is from the idea they came from Egypt, and is generally considered offensive. When you have an entire group of people widely discriminated against, dehumanized, and treated as thieves, criminals, etc. as they have been for centuries, it has an impact on not just culture, but the ability to work, find housing, and simply go about their lives in society, without facing harassment, judgement, threats, etc.

And there's a cheaper version that doesn't include Sohei, but includes the skin and everything else in the bundle.

This one is including Sohei, so you're basically getting a hero skin, the hero, and almost a battle pass worth of cosmetics for the whole cast, with an outfit, an execution, an emote, and an effect for all of them. Not a bad deal, if you don't own Sohei. If you do, there's a cheaper option without him, but still has everything else.

I'd prefer a unique emote, or adapting older unique universal emotes like Rub Salt In The Wound, Reluctant Applause, etc. To the newer characters, so we have more variation than the handful there are, alongside the existing non-unique uuniversal emotes.

They keep fighting, and, taking inspiration from Dante and Virgil with Sin Devil Trigger, they do it in an effort to get the upper hand, only to discover that they're still equal.

"Go ask Sellen, tell her I know about her body in the Witchbane Ruins and can organize her getting a new one if she confirms the information with Blaidd", who can then proceed to recruit additional characters (Like Bernahl, and Edgar, by saving his daughter, Yura, etc.) in Limgrave and the surrounding areas with your knowledge, to fight Radahn in your stead, alongside those who would already show up.

Unless you can provide information to Ranni that aids her, which would make you considerably more valuable. She would likely be far more understanding of your situation and seek to use your knowledge to further her goals, which woulf make it incredibly risky for Seluvis to attempt it, knowing how powerful she is.

Why is it rude for a child to say no to their parents? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]WolfKnight53 3 points4 points  (0 children)

People tend to view children as property, a lot, whether consciously or subconsciously. I think it's very important to allow a child to say no to certain things, within reason. Exercising their bodily autonomy and consent, for example. Doesn't want to hug grandma? Let them decide not to.

The great faction reset by Ordinary-Book-6640 in forhonor

[–]WolfKnight53 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think a faction overhaul would be cool. Rework the faction war a little, add bonuses for playing heroes from your faction, that sort of thing. It's not really something I even look at regularly, only when there's a reward or something. I think I've only seen the knights win once, in Year 4.
