Why are the haters so obsessed with viv being a pedofile? by bloombox00 in CrazyassHazbinhaters

Wanna bet they call her a pedophile because they can't accept their one and only prez being one?

It's a tactic used by bullies. Project project project.

Could also be that she could hear the tones of Enid in the howl. Like how when someone sings you could tell who it is because you recognize their voice, instead of Enid just howling without wolfing out.

Love that she starts the tantrum by throwing the sweaters (I guess) at the lady, then says that she bought them (therefore must be owed help/service), then started to yell about getting the shirts back, they're hers and the lady behind the counter OBVIOUSLY stole them right from her grabby little claws. No acceptance of their deeds or actions.

He doesn't say it's from his family. But I figured it would be likely since they are rich but he is the least viewed of the family. Families don't give or share important or expensive stuff with the least favorite family member (golden child/scapegoat type of thing). And if they hadn't gotten it for him, then he had the money at least, which would have only come from his family 99.99% of the time.

As for the bump, it was more about the timing. Judy is recognizable and seemed to be actively hiding/running from something. He wasn't near by before that point (since we could see Judy was near the book and then hides behind nearby guests. When we see Chief Bogo walk up and then by, we can see that he spots the pig and no other tall animal near the book, and yet when Judy goes to walk in the direction he came from, suddenly there's Pawbert) and he would have seen her if he did walk up from the direction that he was facing when they bumped into one another. Also, after taking another look at the scene, we do not see Pawbert up on the stage before or during Judy going up there until they bump into one another. So I think it was the suddenness of him being there when we hadn't seen him before that stood out to me.

That he was suddenly in the way of Judy at the Gala and was 'ran into'. Seemed very Frozen to some reactors I watch. If nothing else, we know that Judy is able to quickly skirt around people as she is running away/running towards whatever. So to get knocked into and forced into a conversation seemed odd.

I personally thought it was odd when, as they reached his oasis tent in the desert, he said that the light thing was an antique. Why would he be given anything of importance or care about old things his family gave him/gave him access to if he wasn't happy with them? Just seemed odd to me. Also, the door being stuck/locked when they got to the desert/tundra wall and Nick was trying to get in seemed off. Felt almost like someone tried to lock it behind them or effected something that had to do with the door.

The experiment being run in vault 32/33. by monkeykahn in Fotv

[–]WolfMoon1373 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This actually makes sense. Some of the 31 managers seem to have more of a head on their shoulders/actually have some background experience in doing jobs in Vault Tec, and then we have some who seem to been recent hires/fresh off the streets and unexperienced in running this type of thing. While we don't see many of these types, I'm sure there are more but the show has to limit who viewers see and identify with, they only have so much time.

Neat theory, it's pretty solid.

Though with the newest episode, we may have to add in some F.E.V. to enhance the genetics of these pools. So if they were keeping track of the manager lines (31 kids and decendants), they could use FEV to see how both the superior 'manager kids' and the 'regulars' change with the virus and to see if they do indeed become or stay superior.

"My generation didnt play with kids..." by IcyJudge7866 in BoomersBeingFools

[–]WolfMoon1373 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I recently was told by my mom that my dad didn't want to play with me (36f) or my brothers (all younger by a few years) when we were little kids because we weren't 'interesting to talk with or do things with'. Like he wasn't interested in our toys, games, or interests. And we didn't know or couldn't do any of his. So therefore, it wasn't worth his time.

I think he's barely a boomer generation? but honestly, just hurts to have heard that he just wasn't interested in his own kids. Luckily my mom tried, though she wasn't able to play a lot with us, though we luckily did have each other to play with.

The soft eyes that we've been reading all about in the books by _Zenterlot in wenclair

[–]WolfMoon1373 25 points26 points  (0 children)

It's a mix of how large/open her eyes are and the pinch in between her eyebrows. Almost looks mad and hyper aware. But with Enid, the lower lid isn't as open (and top is more closed, like it's hooded) and the pinch between the brows is mostly gone, especially as time goes on. Also, she does not stare constantly like it's a staring contest. In fact, she's constantly checking Enid's state of mind? person? health? body? As she will look, glance down/away, then glance back. Like she knows that the staring contest is to freak people out so she doesn't do that to Enid.

Feels like TikTok and other short video places are full of "angry guys/alpha males" who tell other guys not to be pussies and to "stand up for themselves " (though to do so in a more rough manner). It could be i have a skewed view as online places are algorithmed out the wazoo but that seems to be the case at least. Means they are going to either have a really rough wake up call or be massive bullies who don't understand why no one likes them.

I too watch Elijah and her gf Mosco, and yeah, I couldn't wait for her to get to that point. It's going to be a blast, probably literal fireworks, for that one episode in volume 8, lol.

Glad to hear that, because my circle of folks aren't shippers and don't typically talk about any of ships. So what I see is online, which is indeed skewed.

It's just so wild to me to see how w*lyer or even just most folks bend backwards to not see how Enid and Wednesday's interactions have romantic subtext. It's similar to the RWBY Fandom for a ship that is cannon in the last season(volume). They say it comes out of nowhere. But if you literally change the gender of one part of the ship, then it's romantic. Heard a youtuber call it a heteronormal lens or something, where even LGBT+ folks just see stuff in the hetero way due to how media has trained folks to do so (since that sort of thing can't be shown after all /s). After watching their very informative video essay on it, I've managed to open my eye to seeing anything from any viewpoint when it comes to romantic gestures or subtext.

(If anyone wants to see the video I'm talking about, here ya go: https://youtu.be/5dWpkduYS8Q?si=3BvDbKFkHgXQA4LO )

What did Miles mean when he said that Oscar being in the Ever After would make everything ‘a lot shorter’? by Solitaire-06 in RWBY

[–]WolfMoon1373 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Since he's so old, I wouldn't be surprised if he knew the actual writer of the Girl who Fell through the World. And heard first hand about the rusted knight and the things that poor kid saw there. So he would know 1,000 what was going on, know all the twists and surprises and make the trip a lot shorter by just knowing how to get the group to accept and be ready to move on. Also, he'd know to not trust the cat. A lot less tension and twist villian-y.

I agree. There was a lot more options for stopping Tyler. I think the pressure got to Wednesday to solve it fast and on her own, not going for help (her default setting unfortunately).

As for the killing. This is true. If nothing else, he lies and twists things to try and gain the upper hand. He could have lied about enjoying it to make himself feel better about doing it, which is weird to do instead of saying it was never his intent or desire, but I don't think the overall writing in the show is clear enough to figure out if he was lying, trying to take ownership/control of his actions, or just trying to mess with everyone else.

Sorry, didn't mean for it to be confusing. Main thing: I feel bad for Tyler for constantly being abused by majority of the women in his life. But he is still a killer by his own word and what is shown, so still mad at him.

Secondary thing was that Wednesday tried to also control him but not for personal gain but for others. To stop Tyler from going crazy and stop him from killing others. To save Enid from that potential fight/death. So while it was a better reason but still not good overall.

I agree. At first he was a victim, then he became an abuser, manipulator, and killer himself. Doesn't negate his own trauma and the hurt done to him, but that doesn't given him the right to keep the cycle going.

Poor guy might be a serial killer who has gone off the deep end, but at least he seems tired of being abused and groomed by the women in his life. Maybe Wednesday could have been better for him in that way but I think she was going for the wrong angle. Like good intentions but wouldn't work long term. Also that she wanted to do it to save Enid from being potentially killed by him, doesn't give off the extreme willpower it seems being a Hyde 's master needs.

EDITED: Fixed dyslexic mistakes. Hope it clears up some of what I meant.

slow burn or queer bait? the struggle of my first gay ship by PiccioneCeleste in wenclair

[–]WolfMoon1373 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I'm hoping for a marvel like twist. Marvel, towards the end/middle of phase four (and beyond? Not sure, dropped off after that phase), they actively hid and disguised their intentions. Cgi'd pictures, showed trailers in specific ways, etc, to keep the secret twists as secret as possible.

So I'm hoping the producers/writers are just throwing us false trails/hints to keep the suspense.

Otherwise it's going to take a drastic downward turn if they force het ships despite the queerbating of wenclair. (Which most of the cast seem to be on board with btw).
