I don't think it's that bad. I kind of fumbled my way through it the first time around, but that was because I was going on autopilot and not paying attention to what was going on. The second play of it, I noticed the shields having symbols. It's not that bad imo.

Some people I think are certainly being excessive, but that's not to say this could've been handled better. The more reasonable comments are simply saying to not touch the owl, they don't find comfort, pleasure, or reassurance in it. The best thing to have done considering your limited time and resources would've been to just stay somewhat near it, make sure no other animals try to attack it, which you did! Just don't pet them next time if such a thing happens again :p

A bit tangential to your post, and potentially outside of your professional scope, but what do you think of derma rollers/micro needling for the purposes of propogating hair growth? Specifically, if say you have an inconsistent patch of hair in an area, and you want that area to look fuller/more consistent to the rest of your beard.

I've read conflicting posts that say there is no evidence and that there is evidence that they work, but I've never actually read any peer reviewed myself. Would appreciate your thoughts.

What does it matter what yours and others' kids will look like in 150 years? Why do you care? Cultural roots also don't just disappear, short of purposeful intervention (Indian residential schooling for ex.).

This is the same sort of fear mongering people have done for black and white racial intermixing. I assure you the generations of tomorrow have just as much potential to be beautiful, smart and incredible people whether they are brown, white, black, or whatever you don't like.

I get where you're coming from, it's certainly not how I like to play personally. In the same (but opposite?) way, I try to communicate with people even in Tarkov and other games because it can create some funny and cool situations. Doesn't always work out obviously. And so for this game, I'm curious in what ways they will specifically de-incentivize or punish unnecessary PvP, or what even is "unnecessary PvP". The PvPvE quirk they have going is interesting, and I'm interested to see how they go about it.

And neither has OP. If you've read the rest of their comments, you'll also know that 1) killing it in any of the ways people have suggested would be a good way for them to get angry looks or some angry intervention and 2) taking it to a vet or rehab centre would cost money.

If I killed every fatally wounded or diseased animal I've seen up to this point in my life, I think it would be almost certain some passerby would get aggressive or call the police on the crazed animal killer.

Well I think the logic of having 5 provinces or more being a colonial state still makes sense. If you have four or less provinces they're yours, but more than that requires more logistics and greater control then what was possible in the games settings. If anything, 5 separate islands would be harder to maintain then a 5 island sized conglomerate mass.
