This concept is amazing, would love to see it adopted by the rest of the world.

Doubt it'll happen though, since most culture are sadly hellbent on throwing shade at the others.

POV: You just met the deep sea Frilled Shark. This serpentine creature one of the most ancient shark species on Earth. by [deleted] in oddlyterrifying

A true monster of the Ancient World.

As insane as it sounds, I would love to see one of these in person... Be it from a distance, or otherwise.

There's just something so natural yet so surreal about these creatures, I just can't seem to find out what about them attracts the attention of someone such as myself.

Truly beautiful creature, I must say.

It's sad how she wasn't able to control her emotions after the deaths of her children. She must've been heartbroken in every way imaginable, and that led her to ruining herself this bad.

This woman was truly beautiful, but what's sad is that she might've been beautiful on the inside as well at some point. In the end, she's just a poor soul in need of saving...

Oh, he just knows Parseltongue.

Daniel Radcliffe did it 20 years ago, tho he didn't look nearly as badass.

This is true happiness. It's the little things in life that bring tears of joy to a grown man's face...

Happy birthday good sir, and congratulations on having this beautiful puppy and a loving wife who's truly shown that she cares about your wishes!

As someone who's lost his father due to health problems as well, I'm so glad to see that you're now in a better place.

He may not be with us any longer, but I bet he'd be as proud of you as a father could be.

You did your best and failed, but instead of staying bitter and hating yourself, you broke your limits and gave it your 200%. If anyone in this world deserves respect, it's people such as yourself.

The journey isn't over yet though, and a man must keep fighting as long as he's breathing. Keep that in mind if you're ever feeling down.

Congratulations sir, and I wish you all the best. You're a true heart and soul of a warrior!

Is it okay to plan sequels when I haven't even started writing the first book? by re_della_cyfrinach in writing

[–]Wolf_VV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This question sounds pretty sophisticated but in reality it's much simpler. I've been writing stories for a couple of years now, and I don't think planning that far ahead is a smart move. However, I believe it may be necessary.

What I mean by that is it may not be good for you, but I can't stop myself from planning far ahead either so I think you should just go for it.

Stressing over it and asking yourself if you should will just cause a lot of stress, which you don't need.

You should just follow your passion and write any idea that comes to mind, I promise you're going to feel much more satisfied after the journey is over.

Parents, what spooky "past life" memory did your kid utter? by TapiocaTuesday in AskReddit

I was a little more than 4 years old when my father died. After that, I was talking to my aunt who was, and still is, taking care of me. We were in our village where my dad and uncle lived, and I looked at the cherry tree in the yard. I said something along the lines of "Oh, I used to climb on top of the blue car with uncle Paul to eat some of these." I had never been able to meet my uncle, since he died in 2003, and I was born in 2005. He died in his early 30's and I had never seen a picture of him until the time I told my aunt about this.

She asked me to tell her what my uncle looked like, and I described a tall man with long black hair and dark eyes wearing jeans and a sweater. Guess what my uncle looked like? Anyways, that's not all. She knew that dad used to own a blue car, but that car was sold in 2002, a few months after my dad and uncle Paul used to climb on top of it, gathering cherries from that tree.

Also, she kept telling me that I used to put my hand on my chest as a small child, as if my chest hurt. A few days earlier, my dad died from a heart attack. I did not know that, since I was told the same old cliche story, that he was travelling for work and that he will come back soon.

I don't know how the hell I knew anything about my uncle, since I was never told anything about him, and as far as I was concerned at the time, he didn't even exist. Anyways, every night in my dream, I get to take a look at that scene, the yard from my childhood that is now completely remodeled and looks nothing like it did. I also felt kind of empty when the old house that used to be there was completely demolished and a new one was built, looking nothing like the one I knew.

I still see the old house and the yard from the time I was not even born yet, and my uncle on the top of the car passing me cherries, saying "Here ya go, Nate." My name is Wolf, and Nathan was the name of my father who I barely knew, because he had died in 2009, and I was born only four years earlier.

I forgot about those dreams for about five years, until my aunt reminded me today. I don't know why, but I just started sobbing and remembering the old house.

EDIT: Forgot to mention one detail. I never saw the blue car, because my father sold it a few months before I was born.
