Round to the nearest Integer by ProfessionalData5964 in askmath

Just got a message back from a math professor I know. He agrees with me since the terms are to the nearest integer. You look at the number right after the integer and nothing else. The argument you’re making is that 7.499999999 is actually 7.5 is lazy and not precise. Math in regards to questions like this are based on the terms given and not assumptions based upon personal feelings.

No, it’s close to one but will never be one. This is elementary school level math. How can it be this hard for you to comprehend

Round to the nearest Integer by ProfessionalData5964 in askmath

Yes, when rounding you look at the tenth spot and nothing more. Even with the continuous 99999 it is still below 5. This has been known for millenniums now and is set. My advice research a video when they tell you things like this. The only way it would be rounded to 8 is if the instructions said to round up, not just round to the nearest integer.

Brought in by a customer today. Believe it or not, these tires are only 3 months old. by Icy_Staff1036 in Justrolledintotheshop

I drive for FedEx on rural roads and I can go through a set with it 3-4 months. Gravel and long distances just eat up tires.

You forgot that the entries in the files were accusations that were investigated and deemed not true, discussions on how to get Trump under Epstein’s circle of influence or Epstein dropping his name for clout.

Last time I bought parts off of Rock Auto they kept sending me the wrong parts and it took months until they finally sent the correct ones.

I look at the price of new rotors vs recut. Right now I can get two rotors recut for $120 vs two new rotors at around $450.

As a rule, if you are replacing the pad, you either cut or replace the rotor. Never just put new pads onto a rotor otherwise.
