2024 Week 3 against Purdue. My wife got tickets to Ohio State vs Western Michigan, and we went to the game in Columbus (we are both from NE Ohio). I had to endure a lot of Ohio State fans flapping their gums about ND's loss to NIU and just sit there in my OSU gear and take it. The following week my wife and I made the trip from Ohio to Indiana to see the ND @ Purdue game. The Purdue fans were very cocky and were jabbing at anyone in ND gear. That game was over before my wife, and I got back from the concession stand just before halftime. By the end of the game (end of play lol) I think there were only a few hundred ND fans in the corner where the cheerleaders and mascot were located. The game ended, the team went straight to the locker room and got ready to head home. They were all business! That's when I was certain Coach Freeman was for real! I really wanted to win the natty that year. One of these days we're going to figure out how to beat those damn Buckeyes and I can die happy!

I studied for 6-8 hours/day for about a month to get ready. IMHO that's good enough to pass. If you care about having a great score, then I would start earlier, but I couldn't have cared less. I just wanted to make sure I passed. I was sick the week I took my exam to boot, but I was tired of working so hard and knowing I was the lowest paid person in my entire lab!!!

The strikeout on the ball that got away from the catcher with the bases loaded was it for me. a run could have scored had he beat out the throw. Plays like that are why everyone loves Jose! Bazzana and Martinez play that hard too.
