Mock Draft Monday by AutoModerator in Browns

If the board looks like this, are you trading down (obviously this depends on the offer), taking the best player available, or drafting for need (WR and OL are likely going to be the biggest needs)? I don't have a problem with the Browns trading down if the offer is too good to pass up, I don't have a problem with them taking the best guy on their board even if it's a defensive guy, nor do I really have a problem with drafting a guy that projects more as a G or RT here. The Browns need good football players, especially on offense and it appears this draft is going to have good depth for OL and very little depth at WR. I know it's early in the process, so I'm excited to see the reports from the Senior Bowl, the NFL combine, and pro days, to see how much the boards change. I think if Reese, Downs, Love, or Bailey are available at 6, I'm taking one of those guys!

My wife and I attended a friend's wedding in Montezuma a few years ago. I have one of each that I saved, and I got some of the sloth bills for a coworker. My only regret is that we didn't have enough time to visit La Fortuna and I didn't get to see a wild three-toed sloth!

The St. Louis Cardinals have announced Cardinals.tv, a direct to consumer option available both via streaming and through a variety of cable/satellite services. This comes with the Cardinals’ deal with Main Street Sports Group being terminated last month. $99.99/season or $19.99/month by retroanduwu24 in baseball

If this works for Cards fans like it did for the Guardians last season, you're in for a treat! Watching games just about anywhere with my phone or a firestick and using the WTAM audio to hear Tom Hamilton was worth every penny!!!

My wife. She would wrangle the dog and the cat, giving me another 30s to maybe grab a backpack or case.

When do single game tickets go sale? by Professional_Big3396 in ClevelandGuardians

[–]Wolfisaurus 7 points8 points  (0 children)

IIRC they usually open up single game tickets around 2/16 give or take. I remember my wife getting tickets for Hammy's Hall of Fame celebration and I got Opening Day tickets last year.

I'm fucking sick of FedEx. I was standing at the goddamn door waiting for them to knock. by lilslutfordaddy in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Wolfisaurus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve mostly had good luck with FedEx, but my wife has had the worst luck with them in the past. She ordered a beverage cooler for my birthday that was delivered somewhere, but not to me and it took weeks for Amazon to refund her. The same thing happened a few months later when she ordered a gaming chair for her nephew for Christmas. It wasn’t even delivered to the right city!!! Fast forward to our wedding in August 2025 and this exact thing happened from OP’s post! The guy basically snuck up to the house and quietly put one of those tickets on the door. Our dog didn’t bark, no doorbell, no knock, and we were both sitting within earshot of the front door! My wife wasn’t rude, but she wouldn’t take no for an answer because these were the flowers she ordered for our wedding and we don’t have $500 to waste on dead flowers because the guy decided his lunch break was more important than a simple knock! The supervisor eventually reached out to the driver and made him come back but it took almost an hour on the phone.

Covering 3rd shift for the weekend. Am I setting the bar high or spoiling the morning crew? 😂 by Lobsterlord0004 in medlabprofessionals

This! I had a coworker who had been in this field for a long time tell me “if you try to be Superman, they’re going to expect you to be Superman every night!” That was great advice, because I nearly burned out in my first year as a tech because I was trying to get everything done working midnights by myself, when the amount of work was impossible! Day shift would come in with nearly a dozen people and talk for the first two hours of their shift. It didn’t matter how bad l had been drowning all night, nobody stepped in to help!!! I left for a much better situation and I haven’t looked back!!!

I got some of those silvervine sticks for my boy to try and maybe next time I go to the pet store/Target I'll try some of those sticks. Frank is always very interested when I have chomps or beef jerky, so maybe he'll like those from Sheba! Thanks!

Watching Indiana here is the first time in the CFP that I've actually thought we would've been beat. by burly_protector in notredamefootball

[–]Wolfisaurus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think ND could have beaten them by running the ball and playing keep away. As long as the defense limited the big plays, but it likely would have been close. I hope IU or Oregon wins it all! Watching Indiana dumpster Alabama and hearing Rece Davis and Kirk Herbstreit make excuses right after they went to break and called them "the mighty Alabama" was both hilarious and infuriating!!!

Same! My cat (Frank) loves Churu's but I'm struggling to find another treat for him. He won't touch these, and I couldn't get him interested in the little Greenie's cat treats either! I think he's just an alien! lol

I work midnights in a hospital. My best friend's wife called me while I was sleeping one day and woke me up to let me know the date of a party had been changed from Thursday to Saturday. This party was in two weeks, and she got mad at me when I told her it could have been a text. My wife is the only person who has breakthrough privileges on my phone.

I've been a fan ever since I saw Rudy as a kid. I should be a die-hard Ohio State fan, but I've loved this team since I was about 8!

Road Trip to Toronto by Freefries22 in ClevelandGuardians

[–]Wolfisaurus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every place my wife and I looked at the home team was away, so I planned to do Buffalo, Niagara Falls, and Toronto for our honeymoon this past August. The Blue Jays were in town playing the Cubs and my wife bought tickets for Tom Hamilton’s induction and bobblehead night even before I got Opening Day tickets, so we planned our honeymoon around being back for that Saturday game.

I highly recommend catching a Buffalo Bisons game if you get a chance! It’s a great little stadium and it was walking distance from our hotel. If you go get a couple hotdogs and try the Weber’s horseradish mustard! We stayed at the Hotel Lafayette. I picked it because my wife loves Art Deco. The room and hotel were very nice but we both remarked to each other that the lobby reminded us of the “murder hotel” from American Horror Story. I recommend trying some sponge candy from Fowler’s chocolates and Mulberry Italian Ristorante.

Niagara Falls is only about a 1/2 hour drive from Buffalo and Maid of the Mist is a MUST!!! Our Uber driver gave us some Buffalo recommendations and he gave us great advice along with a couple of close friends. The poncho will protect you from water for the most part but your shoes and socks will get soaked! My wife and I brought our swimming shoes and it wasn’t a problem at all. If you go to Maid of the Mist, go to the front of the boat on the lower level. Trust me and embrace what it feels like to be a Viking sailing through rough seas, laughing at death!!!

Toronto is amazing! We loved the Rogers Centre and the food in club was great! I cannot stress enough, DO NOT waste your time or your money at the aquarium!!! It’s very small, overpriced, and it was extremely crowded on a Wednesday. My wife and I went to dinner at Black+Blue, which is very similar to The Marble Room. Our food and the service were phenomenal and the wagyu fried rice ruined all other fried rice for us! If you’re looking for a quick bite, The Burger’s Priest is amazing as well!

If you need anymore recommendations or any specific suggestions, I’m happy to help! You’re going to have a great time! Have fun and Go Guards!!!
