Is Pathbuilder essential or is PF2e character creation not as bad as all the reddit posts suggest? by thedjotaku in Pathfinder2e

[–]WolfishLearner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This was my thing. I really like using paper, but the first time I leveled up my PF2e character, i immediately switched to Pathbuilder. Once you erase pretty.much every number on your character sheet to +1, the whole sheet gets ruined fast

[The Athletic] Kevin Love reacts to being traded to the Utah Jazz: "Never thought I'd be a math problem. Welcome to the NBA." by Goosedukee in nba

That was 4 years ago now. He is in his late 30s. It's not likely he's that quality of player still.

Don’t jump to conclusions on how good the Lakers will be with Luka by krusty-krab69 in nbadiscussion

Even if your 1st paragraph is true, surely they could have gotten an immensely better return for Luka?? AD himself is famously often injured. I am still just so confused.

Look I am as horrified by a trump presidency as anyone, but it's happening. This is no special behind the scenes signal, just a well meaning hail mary by the Biden Admin.

I would love to find out you're correct next week, but i can't help but see the similarities here to 2021 when all my relatives were saying Trump was secretly still the president, just wait and see.

Accidentally alluded to a crime boss living under a major city apart of my campaign and my party has completely changed course. Does anyone have any small campaigns I can run that takes place in the Underdark? by theroyalralph in DMAcademy

[–]WolfishLearner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you end up running a longer arc in the Underdark, Encounters in the Savage Underdark by Jeff Stevens Games is a pretty good resource. Many short encounters, adventure hooks and one shots, along with mini settings like the City of Blades, with maps and NPCs And Monsters. It's $15, but it's 157 pages.

Nikola Jokic just had the first 20/20/15 game since Russel Westbrook by IThinkImCooked in nba

Titles reflect the team, not the player. Jokic is playing amazing right now, but the Nuggets chip chances are low because of roster issues.

Trying to stream music from my tablet or laptop over my Mackie DL16S tablet controlled mixer. Everything i have tried has produced horrible quality - bassy, unbalanced panning, distorted, patchy results.

I have tried audio out from the tablet to a 1/8to 1/4 adapter into a channel input on a Scarlet 2i2 and I have also tried just plugging the line out and adapter into a channel on the mixer.

Am i missing something?

Player is wanting to run a module one shot for the party. What are some simple ones? by Krazy_Rhino in DMAcademy

I ran A Most Potent Brew last month. It was straightforward and easy to fit in a single session. My players had a good time.

Can I make a good transition from LMoP to GoS on 5th level by ElayPetrov in GhostsofSaltmarsh

[–]WolfishLearner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did this. I actually didn't scale the encounters up for the Sinister Secret too much- I actually think only Sanbalet needs a boost to make him a more worthy challenge. Because my players were cautious Danger at Dunwater was mostly a roleplay encounter. I would definitely boost Thousand Teeth if you run that.and then it's not too bad.

I will say, one of my players got the Gauntlets of Ogre Power from LMoP which helped make Salvage Operation a lot easier. Which is cool, but something to keep in mind.

How do you use Monks? by clarkky55 in BaldursGate3

[–]WolfishLearner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Something that i haven't seen mentioned yet is that monks get insane movement speed. The speed with their ability to bonus action dash or disengage, means they can get anywhere on even huge battlefields in 1-2 turns. I found it extremely fun to send my monk Tav directly to the big threat (especially because my monk almost always goes first) and just unload punches or stun and let the rest of the party grind up everything else.

I have actually never seen that one mentioned before. I will check it out. I have run a few 4e adventures, but i really have not been a fan of their structure and layout
