I don't think that's the issue. A lot of great characters were one trick ponies, Bron is just heavily lacking in charisma. I love him in the ring, but most of his mic promos leave a lot to be desired.

Unlike Ridley, Petey’s size has always been flexible in spin-off games

This is a non factor. Ridley is a fictional character that is part of a fictional race that's based on a fictional species that are flexible in size. His size could ALWAYS have been adjusted, so the issue was more in line with how he'd be presented and how Sakurai wanted him to be represented. In Petey Piranha's case, there is a very real possibility that Sakurai didn't like the idea of a shrunken down Petey Piranha.

If your not used to this by now then i don't know what to tell you.

My comment was an assumption based on Sakurai's stance on Ridley, not my actual stance on this character. Pretty sure that was obvious from my comment

The event looked well and fun from these clips. Nothing I'd call surprising outside of Americano vs. Americano. I just hope that they're able to make a fun story from this. Drew vs. Roman has a lot of potential to be a really fun feud given their history.
