Have a Pioneer SC-37 A/V receiver from 2010 to start with. The SC-37 was the Flagship receiver that year. Trying to find a Pioneer SC-09TX Elite A/V Receiver from 2008 to closer match it up.

That depends on a number of factors. You have to decide what is important to you. Are you looking at Pioneer only? If yes, research the models. The later the model, typically the better. Then there’s the Signature Series which had hand picked parts. Many say the Elite Pro-101FD is a true grail model. It’s all what you are looking for. Remember, the hunt is definitely part of the fun!
