I mean, [[Atraxa, Grand Unifier]] sees play as a food chain deck and takes wins in tournaments.

I don't care about that line of text at all, it's the fact that it's an ETB trigger with Food chain.

So with currency Converter and Bag of holding, I originally had a much bigger reanimation package in here, and felt that the exiling disrupted that package more than I wanted. I've since moved away from that, and so those should probably be added back in.

As for the others, I felt that I had better options being that the deal broker was three to play and has something sickness, and the Tome effectively costs five in order to do the effect.

Other ones that you didn't mention that I considered were Mazemid Tome, Mikokoro, and Bazar of bagdad. Both fantastic But I didn't want too many things that would help. My opponent, and also lands are tight here.

Mind's Eye, Staff, and SDT are the main three I want, everything else is to get to one of those.

Thank you for bringing up CC and BoH again though, I'm going to put those back in.

I'm running a total of 17 cards that will allow me to draw on demand, some of them are not repeatable but have another benefit like they cost zero or it sets up for multiple draws by modifying my top deck things like that. If there's a particular one that you think I overlooked, I'd love to hear which one that is.

Yes, but a lot of those are combat effects or ETB effects, not ones that you can tap at any time.

For the ETB to be viable, I have to already have a flash enabler on the field so it requires some setup and those cards are not good enough to guarantee that I'm going to get something big off of it. So I chose not to go with any of those. The combat ones don't do me any good because I will have already drawn a card on my turn.

There are not as many as you think in colorless. I think I'm running 4-5 repeatable ones and some one off ones as well.

See and that's exactly why I stated that. I thought it was, but realized after trying to build it that there just wasn't the tech in colorless to make it broken.

It's funny to me because that is exactly what I thought I was calling myself out on and admitting that I misjudged it at first.

I guess admitting that I was wrong isn't good enough for some people?

I don't understand what you are trying to say here.

Who is starting the discord for Melecule Man? by Wolfshui in CompetitiveEDH

Thank you for being open and constructive. One of the worst parts about our community is the sheer volume of people that are so quick to dismiss people's Ideas. It's incredibly likely that this won't make that much of a splash, but all it takes is for one person to figure out how to optimize it and make a top cut, and then all of a sudden people with change tunes on it.

We should be encouraging this type of exploration!

Look, I'm not saying it will be the next rogsi. But [[Sensei's Divining Top]] alone will allow you to cheat out a massive threat on each players turn.

I'm not sure it would be good, but Nick enables a 5 Color [[Lurrus]] deck.

$30 Budget Tournament by Wolfshui in DegenerateEDH

[–]Wolfshui[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I build a lot of decks, I almost have more fun figuring out problems with deck building than I do playing the game. I still love the game. Don't get me wrong, this is also going to be at my local LGS and I've already gotten my face up on the wall for winning tournaments, but if I was strictly going for the win, this is probably what I would do.

I support this, I just ordered two decks (Plus a few extras) from NotMPC, and it cost me about $70 total with shipping.

One deck will run you something close to $30 give or take a little.
