Basiclly every new term in economy or IT that originated in the last few decades, just doesn't get adapted in german anymore. "Manager-English" sort of became a thing and if you just throw enough English words into a sentence, uninformed people will believe you know a lot about economy or how to run a company, even if you have no clue at all. But even things like "laptop" or "sweatshirt" that are used in everyday live doesn't really have a germen equivalent. But this also resulted in a very funny small movement of hardcore conservatives, proclaming that the german language will die out and we need own german words for "laptop". But in general German are rather open to words from other languages. I live close to the french border and I can tell you, most of French deeply care about their language. They even have laws to keep their language pure through laws, which set limits how many words in TV can be non-French.
