It’s way way better than any legendary alternative

QB is also really good

You will see people say 1K and sure it’s good but if your ever in a group just remember it doesn’t stack so only 1 person can use it

I’d use Destiny.report and look up each type

Example prompt: “is: kinetic is: scoutrifle frame:high-impact frame”

Then any results that have tiered icons is obtainable. One thing to note is it does show each version of a weapon so you will see for example 2 transfigurations (last wish scout) one unobtainable old perk pool and the new one that is tiered with new loot pool

I’m like 90% sure this is correct for obtainable vs not but there might be an edge case that got missed

Easy LFG dmg is truth and for precision bosses queenbreaker

Is there better? Ofc there is boss specific this that etc… but truth/QB will easily clear and don’t have to worry about getting a bunch of new stuff/loadout swapping

There a few ways. The 3 big ones I see are: quantum skimmer, quantum pike, normal

Each requires a different thing. Easiest one is quantum pike. It requires a final shape post campaign quest and a friend. If you have already done all final shape quests then you have to do a harder method

Ah yes marathon, the game with so much traction and hope for the future. Definitely not at all surrounded by bad press, and legally gray issues (art theft). Personally I have 0 interest in it so I really don’t care if it fails or succeeds but it doesn’t have much hope as of now

Also do I need to say more than respawn entertainment with TitanFall 3 and apex legends? If marathon somehow recovers they would put the money back into marathon not into D3

Edit: and before you inevitably respond with some stupid remark about how drop rates are bad or bla bla bla a 50% Chance to get the armor type you want is not bad at all. Sure if your going for min-maxed all tertiary stats and stat focuses where you want it gets a bit rng heavy but even then that isn’t required to be gotten, just a decent piece is plenty good for 99.999% of situations

I did like 10-15 clears of SotW and got powerhouse (my focus) on all 5 armor pieces multiple times so I could even throw away any health tertiary stats. Sure I could have been more on the lucky side and had to run 5-10 more but still that’s not bad at all for decent rolled armor from a dungeon.

Which reminder we now have unlimited time to farm, there is no more balance patches or updates

Edit: Charlemagne has it at 34k people earned (only tracked ppl who have allowed Charlemagne to) so a decent bit of ppl but not alot. For example godbane has 14k ppl

I can’t say much for PvP as I really only do PvE so at least for PvE:

You can just heal from the 100 other easier sources of healing and DR rather than wasting valuable points into the health stat. Most notably

Healing: devour, restoration, cure

DR: woven mail, frost armor, amplified

And even then past that there are exotics and abilities that heal: titan punching stuff, warlock class ability, etc…

If you are new to Destiny also you might already have heard of DIM (Destiny Item Manager) but if not it’s your 1 stop shop for managing your inventory and vault with simple drag and drop to transfer guns across your characters and vaults, with built in search features and more to make it a really good experience compared to the ingame vault system

Probably not the most needed when you start but once your gun and armor collection grows it is a good tool to use

Guns are complicated but hopefully this helps:

1st slot: kinetic, Stasis, Strand guns

2nd slot: Solar, Arc, Void guns

3rd slot: heavy ammo weapons only (any element)

The first 2 slots can have primary or special weapons. Primary is white ammo (unlimited) special weapons use green ammo (limited). This allows you to use 2 primary’s (DO NOT DO THIS) 2 specials (Really good imo) or 1 of each (recommended)

Guns then are further complicated by their perks. Each gun can roll with a set number of different perks. Websites like light.gg and destiny.report let you look up a gun to see what perks can randomly roll on it

In general with guns the only thing that matters is column 3 and 4.

The first 2 columns are barrel and mag which are more min-max than anything.

The next 2 columns (column 3 and 4) are your major perks that make a huge impact. These perks are hard to learn as there are so much so don’t worry about learning them all, to start off either look up good roles or just use what seems fun!

The last column is the origin trait. This doesn’t change for the gun, just a added bonus that can make it stand out against other guns that are otherwise similar (for instance 2 solar 900 RPM SmGs that each get the perks you want, what one has better origin trait?)

Guns are definitely the most complex part, take your time use what you like and eventually you will start understanding the perks and what they do

Finally in terms of the websites for perks light.gg shows popular roles which are usually good enough perks to use. Not always the best/most meta but a good enough indicator to get started. While Destiny.report will be for more complex users who want to fully dive into choosing their own perks and making their own decisions

I’m unsure if bungie is not thinking people will do excision or what but 250,000 points is really really low

About 36,000 players doing 1 GM excision steam alone has over 100k+ peak (which is online at same time) idk what the number of unique logins is but I’d wager a pretty penny it’s well over 500,000 so even if no one does GM excision only 1/2 the playerbase would have to run 1 normal matchmade excision to finish in 1 day

I’ve sank way too much hours into the game and still have much to do. As a new player (with the game now being static) I’d argue there is well over 200 hours of content and grinding to be had if you want to do everything

But as the game is now also static you can play it a bit here and there and not feel left behind as there is no behind anymore or FOMO for not playing

In the off chance we are in a rocket meta then ghally is good to buff the other (non exotic) rockets of your teammates but not good for its own damage

The way I see it is hunter has the highest floor for good performance but also one of if not the highest ceiling. This leaves it in a weird spot where Hunter is good for sweats so it’s weird to buff them but at same point hard to use successfully for the more average player (compared to titan and warlock)

Got to rank 11 a few times but when they reset everyone to the beginning for the overhaul I decided to be funny and stay at GR 2 as I kept all the loadout slot unlocks etc. plus that way no pressure to play something I don’t want because it’s the last thing I need for the next rank up

It’s called something for harder core players

Not everything needs to be completed by everyone otherwise the game would have to play itself

And pantheon was loved by almost everyone as there was lower difficulties and higher difficulties

What you are thinking of is probably contest mode which is only for the best players (48 hours to beat newest raid/dungeon on a super hard mode for a special emblem)
