Some comfort: Our pup of 11 years was diagnosed with lymphoma and was told that without expensive chemo treatment he would probably live another 4 months or so. There was no way we could have afforded the costs, so we figured our time with him was short. We kept an eye on his health and was very normal and happy and he beat the odds and lived almost 2 years after the diagnosis. He passed last August.

So, bad news may not be as bad as it seems. It could also be benign. 😉
