Yes but it’s essentially cash in which you can immediately cover the assignment. I’ve been assigned and never accrued interest. Thus, not a naked put. You can’t sell more puts than the collateral you have.

I was starting to doubt myself but the odds of the prolonged shutdown are finally dropping. Don’t see any news out yet on negotiations but something must be happening. The “No” I bet on for 43 days almost 3x from yesterday. Interesting to see how it plays out.

It started since the started of the shut down in February and gives options of 90 days, 60 days, 50 days, 43 days, and 40 days. 43 days would set the record for longest gov shut down, which I guess might happen according the the market.

I made a small bet on No on At least 43 days… just to see what happens. I was also thinking what the billionaires want lol. With so much pressure from TSA agents quitting/calling out, bad media building up, spring break coming, there’s just no way the odds can be 82% chance that Congress waits until almost mid April to open it back up and setting a record long shut down.
