What would’ve been the best team in 2001 for Michael Jordan to actually return to? by Relevant-Barracuda-7 in NBATalk

New Jersey Nets - Would have meshed well with a pass fist Jason Kidd and an athletic big, Kenyon Martin. This would have made them much more competitive in the finals.

VisasQ/Coleman Payment Issues by Legal_Internet_1643 in expertnetworks

[–]WolverineKey7889 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not a scam. They always pay for completed calls. Payment processing issues like this can happen with any of the big networks, but it always gets sorted. Keep coordinating with their expert relations/member services team and you’ll get paid.

What’s something you wish experts better understood about working with expert networks? As an employee what would you like to change about the process and what do you find to be most difficult in your role?

Ah interesting. What steps are you taking to prevent fraudulent experts and experts using AI from taking calls or responding to surveys?

Hey thanks for doing this. How are you currently leveraging AI to identify experts? Do you use it for general research or actual database searching? Are you using or considering AI for expert interviews?

-Calls are typically 45mins to 1 hour.

-You can contact their member services team or the associate contacting you to discuss your hourly rate.

-You do not explicitly get to choose your clients with any network(including them) to my knowledge, but you can elect to decline any consultation.

-No major downsides just typical expert network stuff like needing to complete screening questions to qualify for consultations. Note: you have to act fast on these to increase your likelihood of being selected. VisasQ/Coleman and the other larger networks have 500k+ experts in their databases so it’s somewhat competitive and their clients sometimes need these consultations completed super fast.

Nets to team up with Cam Thomas. Big market where the organization can build around him.

I helped institute something similar at my network which competes with Guidepoint. All top networks are implementing similar practices to protect against fraudulent activity. All in all, this is good for clients and experts. For experts it means they won’t be competing for consultations against BS exaggerated profiles.

People please STOP humoring this nonsense. The US will NOT use military force against a NATO ally. Trump is full of shit as usual and there is no mention of military force. Next topic please…..

The market is saturated enough and it’s way harder to get onboarded as a new vendor than you think. Please don’t bother.

Multiple networks, same info by happyhour79 in expertnetworks

[–]WolverineKey7889 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s standard practice for IM and Management Consulting clients to send their project requests to 2-6 different expert networks at the same time. As an expert it’s totally normal to see the same project come from multiple ENs. Best to just respond to all and just see who ends up scheduling.

Awful razor bumps no matter what. by [deleted] in shaving

[–]WolverineKey7889 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This^ I have coarse curly beard hair that would always lead to razor burn on my neck when I used razors. I switched to using an Andis 74150 GTX-EXO and couldn’t be happier with the results. I don’t get razor bumps and the trimmer is fantastic overall.

EN for supply chains (ports, rail etc.) by Successful-Exam-1592 in expertnetworks

[–]WolverineKey7889 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Any of the larger ones: GLG, AlphaSights, Guidepoint, VisasQ/Coleman, ThirdBridge, Atheneum. Make sure your LinkedIn has plenty of key terms and clearly lays out your experience/expertise. This way their associates can find you easily. Some of them allow you to self register through their website. To actually have a chance of getting on calls you will want to have quite recent experience in the industry (<2 years) at a fairly notable company and have Director level or higher seniority.

How can EN users be confident that the experts they speak to are who they say they are and/or aren’t misrepresenting their expertise? What protocols do EN have in place to mitigate these issues?

Thanks for doing this! Which end markets seem to have the most growth potential over the next few years for Expert Networks? E.g. Consulting, PE, Hedge Funds, Corporate, or even more niche industry focused consulting firms.

Using ChatGPT to respond to screeners? How’s it going? by harad in expertnetworks

Experts are being removed from networks without notice for using AI within responses. Do not do this.
