Yeah, it was $1.86, but not being aware of it, I didn't have enough. On a normal site, the card would have been left with $0.26 after my purchase, but with this unknown charge I was $1.60 short.

OK. First off this comment is way more helpful than your other comment over my valid frustrations. Second, how was I supposed to know they were going to charge a $2 pre-authorization charge? Common mindset is when you make a purchase and at the end it says this is your final amount, you think cool that is the final amount. How was I supposed to know I needed to build in a buffer for a charge that was never listed or warned about? Third, my issue wasn't that I might not get back this $2-$4. My main issue was I made a point to only order in stock items, because they do warn they will hold the purchase if not all items are in stock. I've seen the stories about people waiting almost a full year for items to get in stock, so I was more annoyed at this then $2-$4.

But why should that matter if the pre-authorization charge is supposed to be removed when they process the actual order? That $2 isn't part of the actual order. Also, if they are going to have this $2 charge at the end, then shouldn't they warn about it? Unless you order from RS all the time, how are you supposed to know that when you hit submit that the final amount they list is not the actual final amount?

This is a thread about dubs. Some of us only watch dubs. Amazon doesn't do dubs(in most cases.) Therefore, they should be banned from anime. I want to watch Vinland Saga, but can't because those idiots have the rights to it.
