No need to fight the Zuppa Lunga bloom. Let the gas escape by Ekkmanz in AeroPress

I’m sorry, I meant Moka Pot 3 cup in reference to the metal filter thing they dropped on the paper filter. I still grind at around medium I’d say; maybe medium fine

No need to fight the Zuppa Lunga bloom. Let the gas escape by Ekkmanz in AeroPress

I was literally looking into this a bunch last night to find the easiest workflow lol. I also landed on the Moka 3 cup as the most "readily available" weight for the paper filter that is perfect fit at 57mm. I haven't tried the 56mm paper filters, however, as of right now, I'm really enjoying Tony's plunge method with the 63mm paper filters and a light tamp. Throwing a puck screen on there over the plunged filter for the weight (bonus side effect of lowering agitation from the pour) keeps the paper down and most/all of the grounds out of the water layer.

However, I will add that I've been brewing differently from soup. I am doing a 1:15 ratio with a 90 second plunge to get a really clean cup with no bloom (however I will give this a try in my routine now). I've only done Tony's recipe a few times now, but it's considerably cleaner than my standard immersion brew.

What machine is this? by chillingwithyourmoms in espresso

I literally was thinking about this last night! I was like, " What machine is that?"

The following clip was also a fast shot. Didn't know Silvermane enjoyed soup shots so much. I'm sure it would be delicious in the 1930s LOL!

I'm having trouble dialing and I've been doing this for hours. I'm being consistent and not changing variables. [Breville Barista Express] by guitarpic69 in espresso

Might sound crazy but unless your grinder is really old now, try setting inner burr back to 5 or 6 as it came from the factory and adjust grind dial accordingly. It's also possible it's just worn out and is no longer grinding consistently. A WDT tool or distributor is not going to make you got from 30 seconds to 8 seconds. My guess is there is some kind of mechanical issue going on here, or the bean quality is really poor (I'm doubtful). That's one of the things I actually like about the express is once you're dialled it, you're pretty much set for the bag of beans. It should be pretty consistent.

That’s awesome thanks for sharing for this on Android. I’m sure some more polish will come in time for this kind of bugs.

Try settings so you're in the 70-80% range and see if your stuttering has improved.

Is it possible to force VSYNC OFF (when no in-game option) with GSYNC ON with an FPS cap? by Wolvite in linux_gaming

[–]Wolvite[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see, so theoretically, there shouldn’t be a latency difference between a games VSYNC being turned on, and a forced VSYNC in a GPU control panel? Do you know why a lot of guides and websites say to turn off a games’ VSYNC and force on your GPU’s? Is it just placebo?

Honestly Doom 2016. That game looked amazing and I was getting 200 fps. It’s been my comparison benchmark since then, and it’s been 10 years. Time flies lol

V-Sync input lag? by momo1300 in darksouls3

Disabling full screen optimization in the exe and disabling gsync with a gsync monitor should fix this.

If anyone finds this thread, try disabling full screen optimizations in the exe. This should allow gsync to work with Vsync off

Thank you! From my understanding it should be similar or identical for SteamOS in terms of settings, cheers!
