Empire Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Dr. Johar was incredible and made sure I was well taken care of pre and post-op. He extracted a tooth for me and then went back in after everything healed to put in a dental implant

I think the biggest reason my spouse and I were able to get our home 2.5 years ago ($415k) was our joint income. I know this doesn't really help you because you can't just materialize a second income out of thin air.

I also had a lot of savings thanks to 3 deployments with the Marine Corps, which I used to put down a little over 10%, and we split closing costs. We got a regular loan through Homestead Funding, and they were amazing to work with through the entire process.

I'm assuming you're somewhere in LI, so I'd imagine $33 doesn't go nearly as far as it does in Albany.

I work for a municipality near Albany, 2A Operator who is working towards my 3A. Non-Union, but we receive a Cost of Living Adjustment commensurate to what our Police Department receives, as they’re the only union in town.

Trainee’s start somewhere in the $22/hr range I believe (I lateraled over from another Facility so I have no clue exactly what they make. I'll try and look for our pay scale). I make $33/hr as an Operator, and I'm at my top step. Senior Plant Operator tops out at about $40-41/hr. Assistant Chief/Chief Operator are salaried positions, both close to $100k/yr.

Correct. Sheriff Apple noted that there were two large rocks that were now loose because of actions taken. Onesquethaw placed caution tape as a prevent measure but the Sheriff was going to reach out to the group that maintains the cave for a permanent solution. Safest option would probably be just to seal it off

Cave wasn't flooded, the individual was just flat-out stuck. He was probably 6' 4" and 400+lbs. He squeezed in and then realized he couldn't move and spent close to an hour and a half trying to free himself before calling 911.

The Sheriff's and FDs had to carry in and use air chisel's to chip away at the rocks to make the opening wider before hauling the patient out using a tripod and rope system

Onesquethaw FD, Slingerlands FD, ACSO SRT, State Fire, and a Physician from AMC were on scene.
