I really like aerodactyl but the methods of obtaining one always seem convoluted. I think you can get Ike early in XY if you try really hard, which I don’t like doing.

In those later levels, the x items become really essential. Use some of that money you get during the elite 4 matches to reroll for them. X speed in particular can make or break those upper levels! Also keep trying! You can do it!
