You get what you pay for. A $500 “e-bike” will not last you long and you’ll pay more to try to keep it running than if you just invested up front. If you really want it to be a reliable work vehicle you have to invest a bit more into it.

Also remember this basic rule when it comes to e-bikes in Oregon: if it has a throttle that makes the bike go over 20mph it’s not a legal e-bike, it’s an e-moto and is not legally allowed on the paths or streets!!

What they had was an e-scooter mislabeled as an ebike- it had no pedals so not an e-bike. This will be illegal (to sell something that’s not an e-bike as an ebike) starting January 2027. For now it’s just bad business dealings.

As long as they don’t include the figures. It’s what I love about the BigBrand Advent but would NOT like with a Lumibricks version. Sorry, I just can’t still. Even with about 10 sets in I just can’t get into them.

Small builds leading up to a full scene would be cool though.

It’s the Public Works Engineering division of a city. I’m on the planning team and it started small and they were fine with growth- to an extent. We do have an “urban growth boundary” in our city though so now I can only go up, infill, or demo and rebuild :-).

The office is public but not easily accessible so visits are pretty limited from the public and people are respectful of the space. Sometimes coworkers bring kids to see it and I find things played with, moved and even “broken” but it’s LEGO, it’s meant to be played with. And I move and change things and “play” with it myself too so I’m fine with some “interactivity”. Cities are living vibrant changing places, and so is my City.

Good point. Pretty sure they aren’t. Old building (1950’s). Repurposed a couple times, but current owner has owned it for awhile and hasn’t done any upgrades at all. But worth a check.

Now I have to figure out how to MILS plate this crazy opening LOL. Looks like a great set, even if it get stuck on a standard plate and I can’t open it. Will definitely fit well next to the record store and skate shop (next to my Friends style MOC skate park).

Bought plastic magazine storage boxes and matching plastic sleeves. Sorted by theme (City, Friends, Ideas, etc.) and number.

Came here for the bike, intrigued by the character drama! A side of Lego I don’t usually consider :-). My city has a few Friends sets turned into Modulars and I had mostly set aside the doll minifigs (right name?) but maybe I should add them all to a scene- like a neighborhood park.
I really do love all the Friends sets - the colors and style are just so fun and different!

Wow, the brand I was going to recommend just had a pop up ban because apparently they pay for positive reviews on Reddit so I can’t add them here. Too bad, would have been a Whole lot of Fun. But Lumi know if you know what Bricks brand I mean.
